An absolute 10/10 experience! We booked Naveen’s space for a private corporate team event, and it exceeded every expectation. Naveen is unbelievably charismatic—he took the time to learn everyone’s names within minutes of our arrival—and his staff was so helpful and welcoming. We learned a ton, made fantastic food, and had an amazing time together. Our team is already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Everything was explained clearly, and you could tell how much thought and care went into the entire experience. I highly recommend Naveen’s Cuisine to anyone who loves food, enjoys cooking, or is simply looking for a unique and memorable experience in Chicago (great for date nights, anniversaries). What an amazing experience at Nuveen Cuisine! This was my second time having the pleasure of attending one of their cooking classes, and somehow it was even better than I remembered. The class was the perfect combination of instructional and fun. We learned so much throughout the evening, but everything was presented in such an approachable and enjoyable way. The Indian dishes we prepared were truly some of the best I’ve ever had—absolutely delicious, beautifully seasoned, and made with incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients. What I especially love about these classes is that you don’t just enjoy a fantastic meal—you leave feeling like you’ve actually learned something and can recreate the dishes at home. A wonderful experience from start to finish. After two terrific classes, I’m already looking forward to my third!

I attended a cooking class at Naveen’s as part of a bachelorette party with a group of about 12 women, and from the moment we arrived at his gorgeous space, he made us feel completely welcome. Within the first five minutes, he had learned everyone’s names—and somehow remembered them throughout the entire night. That alone was incredibly impressive and made the experience feel so personal. He immediately encouraged us to help ourselves to drinks in the refrigerator and showed us where to find the glasses and ice, making it easy for everyone to settle in and feel at home. One of my favorite moments was when he showed us a light-up cooler he had just purchased because it “looked cool.” It was such an endearing little detail and really captured his personality and the fun, relaxed atmosphere he created for our group. After we had time to look around and mingle, Naveen gave us a little background on himself and an overview of what we would be cooking that evening. (We had chosen an Indian menu with a vegetarian option.) He also gave us a brief lesson on vegetable prep and knife skills, sharing tips that I thought were great for beginners and experienced cooks alike. I called him the Maestro because we had three main dishes, plus rice and lentils, all being prepared by different groups—and he somehow managed to gently keep everyone on task without ever making it feel rushed or stressful. He has the perfect personality for this job: warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. It was a beautiful evening, so when it was time to eat, we went outside to the back of the building, where there was an open roof and soft lighting. The whole setting was exceptional, and it made an already wonderful experience feel even more special. We had such a wonderful time and could not recommend Naveen’s cooking class more highly. We will all be singing his praises and recommending him to our friends. Thank you, Naveen, for such a memorable evening!

Attending a group cooking class here as a work event. Naveen was fun, thoughtful, and super educational. The environment was relaxed but I found myself actively engaged in trying new skills. It was a great class for all, beginners to home chefs. Can’t wait to go back for a different class since I live in the area!
