I scheduled a deep cleaning. The folks that arrived were very nice. I was a bit surprised that there wasn’t a company vehicle or company provided cleaning supplies. It seemed like the cleaning crew supplied their own tools. I thought that was strange. On the initial walk through I didn’t say much so I’m not sure if there was miscommunication but there were areas that just weren’t done. They did ask for a final walk through which I declined because I didn’t think I needed too. All things I should have done differently. In the master bathroom the entire whirlpool tub was untouched, they scrubbed the shower really well, but the lip of the shower was untouched and none of the back of the toilets were wiped off. The kitchen counters still had some food stuck to them and the kitchen floors still had food stuck to them. It didn’t really feel like a deep cleaning and felt more like I paid for a deep cleaning and got a regular cleaning with stuff missed. Things they did well were the base boards and wiping the tops of the entries in each room. They scrubbed the showers really well including a very hard to clean glass shower door which was badly stained with hard water and soap. I think the people were nice, but I don’t think what I got was worth the price ($450) and I wouldn’t do it again.
All photos were taken directly after the finished. The photo with the dead fly is a shelf on the Whirlpool tub that I started wiping down after they left. When I saw the fly, I took the picture. The level of dust under the fly is what covered the entire shelf before I started wiping it down.
