Eddie does a great job at caring for your trees and your property. He knows how to properly thin the weight off an old oak and keep it healthy and beautiful. He’s organized and clean. He gently ropes down each limb and breaks them up before pulling them out to the chipper. Much appreciated for our beautiful home.

Thank you Carla, I don't get on here often, and seen you left this kind review 8 weeks ago now, I think my backs still killing me from dragging those oversized tarp loads of brush ;) but the main thing is those oaks transformed exquisitely from the crown raising and cleaning performed.
Thanks again, Eddie

We had Eddie's team remove a large pine that was dying. They were very professional and had it out quite quickly. I watched them for a while and it was fun to see the exceptional skill level up in the tree.
On a previous occasion we had him remove a tree and put in a replacement 10' tree into our yard. That tree didn't really thrive but that may be more from neglect than his skill. That tree removal and replacement went smoothly.

Thank you Bill, and yes the Jacaranda I planted was done competently, and I wasn't responsible to ensure supplemental irrigation was provided which is a probable cause for its demise. It was a good selection for the location if it would have thrived 5 years ago.

Eddie is an ISA Certified Arborist since 1993 with an ISA Tree Risk Qualification and is also a ASCA Consulting Arborist.
These credentials confirm his effort to maintain competency in the tree care industry, and the work he performs without a doubt shows his detail and perfection above and beyond my expectations. Eddie has planted and maintained my landscape for over 18 years, consisting of 26 Japanese maples, Chinese pistache, Red Horse Chestnut, Tricolor Beech, Strawberry Tree, New Zealand Tea Trees, and many other ornamental plantings. Eddie transformed my yard into a living sanctuary with two running fountains and flowering shrubs that attract a variety of birds and every evening about 20 doves arrive to add to the ambiance. It is very nice to have work done by someone with knowledge and that is extremely conscientious from plant selection, installation, irrigation, and award winning pruning.

Thank you Rachelle. Those were very inspiring words, and truly a tough act to follow, as you know first hand because you've helped me anytime you can for over those 18 years. It's truly a living sanctuary and represents my Motto "Exquisite Living Artwork" Thanks for trusting and choosing me to design, install, and maintain everything, the task is spiritually fulfilling. Blessings !!!

Eddie crafted and resurrected our Siberian Elm with care. He's a dedicated arborist, an advocate for natural beauty, and a talented craftsman. All future tree work on our property will be going Eddie's Way. Thank you so much! The Akemann Family.

Thank you Lorraine, for selecting me with the reconstructive surgery it took to eliminate the previous unprofessional pruning cuts on the canopy exterior, and to raise the crown appropriately which enhanced the entire aesthetics of the Siberian Elm, which can be admired by many, being highly visible from the intersection driving up the hill. It's a pleasure working for people who care about the living asset (Trees) and strive to beautify them along with acknowledging the effort and artistry it takes to obtain a desirable outcome. Thanks again, Eddie

Eddie is passionate about trees and takes pride in the quality of his work. He’s got a bunch done in our garden and was honest and upfront about what needed and didn’t need to be done, pros and cons of each tree etc. He also doesn’t try to sell you a “subscription” like some companies do. The most impressive part was the trimming of the massive Chinese Elm and Silk Oak we have on our property. Eddie and his crew took a sizable amount of material from the trees, but when you looked at it afterwards you really couldn’t tell! That really takes experience and skill. Thanks Eddie for a job well done!

Thank you Janaina, and thanks for trusting me to transform your trees into
"Exquisite Living Artwork" which is my slogan and a tough act to follow, especially the Chinese Elm species which are a maze to begin with, then depending on the work previously done can become an extensive reconstructive surgery. With the diameter and age of about 80 years old it's had some undesirable work done on it in the past. The aesthetics I left the tree with brings a pleasant ambiance for years to come.
Thanks again, Eddie

Eddie's very knowledgeable and did a great job assessing the health and safety of a very old, large Siberian Elm in our backyard. He removed quite a bit of weight from over the top of our roof, the neighbour's roof, and parts of their yard while preserving the natural shape and lines of the tree.
It's been a little over a year and we haven't had any issues with broken limbs since!
Response from the owner · 2 years ago
Thank you Annie, the bicycle rim located up in the union of the main stems with the tree growing around it was a unique find, although not good for the trees structural integrity. Thanks for choosing me for the consultation and to perform the the work as well.

Eddie took out two redwoods from our yard that had started to die. He was very efficient and safe and really cares about his quality of work. He did a great job with trees, stumps and cleanup and also helped with permitting process which was very helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend him and would use his services again in the future! Thanks Eddie!
Response from the owner · 2 years ago
Thanks Rich, I'm glad we could finally get those removed before they caused anymore damage to your neighbor's patio and future damage to the fence they were next to. I hope everything else remaining in the landscape is still thriving. Thanks again, Eddie

We had a redwood and Oak trees removed. Ed was very knowledgeable and professional – he even took care the permit for us. Definitely, recommend!
In the winter of 2023, Ed and his teams "Neck of the Woods" helped us again to take care of hazardous 100' tree on my property, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their professionalism and dedication. The tree had experienced a failure of one of its tops, which landed precariously on my roof. Ed provided Arborist Report and submitted to the county and diligently pursued the county to expedite the hazardous 100' tree removal with the permits. Their expertise and guidance were instrumental in navigating bureaucratic hurdles, ensuring a swift resolution to a potentially dangerous situation. As the tree was dismantled, it became evident that there was a split between the two remaining larger tops, reinforcing the urgency of the removal. Ed and the team executed the task with precision, prioritizing safety and efficiency. I can't emphasize enough how strongly I recommend Ed and his team at "Neck of the Woods." Their proactive and professional demeanor, coupled with their ability to handle complex situations. In times of crisis, you want a team like Ed and his team of "Neck of the Woods" by your side.
