I was genuinely excited at the start of this process. The work showcased on his website looked exceptional and unique, handcrafted pieces that i imagined becoming a centerpiece in my home. Unfortunately, that initial excitement is the only positive part of my experience, because I never received the table I ordered. I placed my order in early December 2024 with an agreed upon delivery timeframe of late March or early April at the latest. I paid for my table in full right after we had a detailed phone conversation about the design, and he even texted photos of the wood he planned to use. Everything seemed on track. As the delivery window approached, I checked in and was told the table was “close.” Weeks passed. Communication became inconsistent. Eventually, I was handed off to someone named Ben, who responded just enough to keep me waiting but never actually moved things forward. By late May, I was told the table was about ready to ship. I received a shipping quote, confirmed my delivery address and asked how they wanted me to submit payment for the shipping. That was the last communication I ever received. From that point forward, every call, text, and email went unanswered. They simply disappeared. No explanation. No update. No acknowledgment. Nothing. Crickets!! It’s now late July, and I still have no table and no response. They went completely dark. After this experience, I looked into their reputation more closely and found negative feedback with similar complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, my situation appears far from unique. I’m deeply disappointed, not just because I never received the table, but because of how blatantly unprofessional and unethical the entire process became. It’s hard to understand how a business can operate this way, ignoring customers, failing to deliver paid for products, and showing no accountability whatsoever. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding doing business with them. Their ethics and reliability are highly questionable and the frustration simply isn’t worth it.

We contacted them about making custom living room furniture, media table and matching coffee table, because we struggled to find furniture that fit our space and needs. We worked with Aaron throughout the whole design process, he was great at incorporating our feedback and showing us digital plans with every change. We even went to the shop to confirm the type of wood and some design options. Everything was made to fit our stuff/space and they delivered it themselves! The pieces came out beautifully and it feels so good to have real works of art in our home.

The Needham Furniture Makers graciously hosted the Annual Tool Auction for the Eastern Massachusetts Guild of Woodworkers (EMGW) in April. The tool auction is the major fund raiser for the EMGW and, as our group has no home base, we need to find a suitable venue for our event every year. Pete and Hank were more than willing to host and we had our most successful auction to date. The facility is spacious and newly fitted out and is rapidly becoming a hub for area woodworkers. Hank, Peter and Lily were a delight to work with. I had an old oak table that needed some love and resizing. They helped me with the design choosing walnut to add width to the table. They then refinished it, added the walnut, glued/epoxied the splits and chose a great finish. Super happy with the result and would recommend Needham Furniture Makers to everyone!
I’ve been having a blast learning new things everyday here at Needham Furniture Makers. The owners Hank and Pete are extremely professional and helpful, and they constantly strive to make the place better for everyone. Other members here are beyond wonderful as well. I’d say it’s a great place for people of all skill levels with a passion for woodworking!
These guys do very high quality work! The best part is, they spend the time with you to figure out your needs, work within your concept of what you are trying to do. Old School Good Service, you will be pleased.
