I had a great experience with Nelson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters. Diego came out to remove a saddle valve on one of my water lines that was causing very low flow to the refrigerator dispenser, and he replaced it with a proper compression stop. He fixed the issue quickly, and right away the water flow was back to…
Exceptional customer service and an easy, smooth experience from start to finish with Nelson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters. We had a leak at our water heater, and Diego arrived in about 45 minutes, quickly found the problem, and explained the repair and replacement options in simple terms with a few money-saving…
We first had the sewer lines under our house replaced with PVC, and that job went very smoothly. Based on that experience, we felt confident calling Nelson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters again when we needed help with another plumbing repair. More recently, we had a faucet handle replaced, and the service was just…
This plumbing team did an excellent job from start to finish. Diego and Malik were great to work with. They installed a water softener system, a tankless water heater, and a reverse osmosis unit for the sink. During the job, they found a few issues with the existing plumbing setup, but they worked through each one…
From start to finish, the whole plumbing experience was excellent. My wife and I picked out a new faucet and met with Gerald, who gave great service, answered all of our questions, and helped us get the right parts ordered for the job. After that, we scheduled the installation, and everything moved smoothly. We…
As a newer homeowner, I’ve made plenty of first-time mistakes, and I recently thought I had a plumbing problem under my home with what looked like a broken PEX water line near the water heater. I called several plumbers and had trouble getting a callback, so I was really relieved when Nelson Family Plumbing & Water…
I accidentally scheduled the plumbing service for the wrong day, and they were very understanding and got me in the next day, which really helped. It felt like the right mix of supporting a small local plumbing business while still getting dependable service, solid workmanship, and a professional crew. We had our…
They handled a full bathroom plumbing remodel for us, removing the old tub, wall tile, vinyl floor, toilet, and sink, then installing a new shower, grab bars, toilet, and sink. Gerald was very patient while we finalized the work and made several changes to the original plan. He was easy to work with and always…
The team hasn’t even finished the repair yet, but I’m already impressed. I had a warped pipe under my house in Hercules, which was making my kitchen sink and washing machine back up into each other—definitely not fun to deal with! Before calling this plumbing company, another plumber checked it out but didn’t really…
i am very happy with the service from Nelson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters. we needed a new sink installed, along with a faucet and all the plumbing lines hooked up. norman did an excellent job and paid close attention to every detail. he was very patient whenever i had questions, and he didn't mind that our…
A couple years back, I ran into a big plumbing problem on Christmas Day in Hercules. I had peeled a bunch of potatoes and put the peels down the kitchen sink, which ended up clogging the drain. With family over, the sink was out of commission, and nothing I tried—like using a plunger or a drain snake—would clear the…
we’ve had nelson family plumbing & water heaters at our house several times recently because our drains kept clogging. turns out, a friend’s little kid dropped rocks down our sewage line, which caused a lot of blockages. malik came out last time and managed to clear out the last few rocks, and today diego visited…
A while back on Christmas Day, I made the mistake of putting a bunch of potato peels down the kitchen sink, and it ended up getting completely clogged. With family visiting, I really needed a plumber fast. I tried using a plunger and a drain snake myself, but nothing worked. I called around, but only Nelson Family…
The team did an excellent job! They are honest, take time to explain what needs to be done, how everything works, and always give different options for fixing plumbing problems. They really stand behind their work and treat their customers with care and respect. I’ve called on them for both small repairs and big…
I had an excellent experience with the plumber. Gerald replaced our kitchen faucet quickly and professionally. I called early in the morning, and he answered right away and was able to come out to Hercules that same day. There were some black particles coming out of the old faucet and small leaks under the sink, but…
after trying to fix a leaky pipe on our own to save some cash, we realized it was time to call in a professional plumber. this company really impressed us and did more than we expected. i'm the type who likes to handle things myself, but every suggestion they gave made sense and actually fixed the problem. they…
We recently discovered a leak from a polybutylene pipe above our kitchen, which caused water to pour out of one of our ceiling lights. I called a local plumbing company and they sent Gerald and Malik over within just a few hours. Both plumbers were very professional, quickly found the hot water pipe causing the…
I recently had a small leak in my water heater at my home in Hercules, so I reached out to Nelson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters. They got back to me within an hour and let me know that Norman would be arriving soon to check things out. I was expecting to wait at least a week for an appointment, so I was pleasantly…
