I used to use this company back when it was Action Pools before they sold the company. My original pool draining was $299, then when Neptune bought them my closing went above $400. This year, they're doing something different. "We are draining the pool down to the returns before blowing out the lines. Then blowing the lines and plugging them as normal, this way we can 100% guarantee there is no water left in them visually before plugging that can freeze and cause any damages to your pipes in the following season. Then refilling the pool and winterizing as normal." -- direct from the company. Draining the pool to winterize a pool is crazy especially since I have an older simple single return pool design. They'd effectively be wasting 4k-5k gallons of water in my particular case while we go through an active drought, and then charging 3x what I used to pay to do so because the price is now $650 + the cost of chemicals. That’s insane. I can drain my own pool and blow the lines at that point if I have to drain half of the pool to do so. The point of a pool closing service is you guys have special equipment to blow things out without draining half of the pool. I'm not commenting on the quality of their work, I'm sure they will do a good job blowing things out but they're extorting residents at these prices. Chemicals are usually $100-200 so by the time they're done draining half of your pool you're paying near $800-900 just to winterize the pool then you have to pay your water utility to refill the pool. Just 2 years ago this service cost me ~$300 total from this same company before they sold...

Really disappointed in the level of service we received from Neptune Pools. Our pool season closed a month ago and the pool still has not been drained (see photo). The pool was not properly cleaned for opening day, our HOA board was left to skim the pool. Pool service was inconsistent throughout the summer - some days it looked great and other days it looked like a week between service visits. The timing of the service visits were sporadic as well with some happening in the morning, afternoon (during peak swim hours) and evening. The customer service was even more upsetting. Most of our calls and emails would go unanswered. In late July, we received an email from Neptune's Maintenance Manager informing us that we would be getting a new technician to remedy the "shortcomings in level of service" - there was no courtesy credit offered. Ironically, we responded to the maintenance manager with other issues we're experiencing and didn't receive a response. Just disappointing all around, we expected better than this.

We had a great season working with Neptune Pools, and I especially want to recognize Brooke! She was always upbeat, informative, communicative, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire season. Working in HOA management, I oversee multiple associations, including communities with both large swimming pools and wading pools, so there are a lot of moving pieces to coordinate. Brooke made my job so much easier. She was always quick to answer questions, provide updates, and help address anything that came up along the way. It was truly a pleasure working with someone who is so positive, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed working with Brooke and the Neptune Pools team this season and look forward to many more successful pool seasons together!

I requested a service call to make sure the pool was set for another winter (since I didn't open the pool this year). On my service day, Gabe called to let me know when he was heading to my house, which I appreciate. Once here, we discussed my pool a bit, he checked the water and only added necessary chemicals to prepare the pool for another winter. Gabe is knowledgeable, really cool, and friendly. This is a new team taking care of my pool and I have been very pleased with the entire staff that I have interacted with at Neptune.

Steve has done such a wonderful job taking care of our community pool this summer. We really appreciate all he has done. Also, Brooke and Abby at Neptune are always so responsive and helpful whenever we have called.

I had service for my pool during a very chaotic move. Neptune pools sent Kaden out to help me. The service was excellent & he took time to walk through maintenance & future care. I was distracted with movers here so he is coming back to help me again. They are knowledgeable, attentive and very customer oriented. Please try them! You wont be disappointed. Terri Wheeler

Neptune Pools provided one of the most comprehensive service calls I’ve ever experienced. They (Justin and Cayden) were on time, ready to dive into frigid water (literally) to identify the source of leaks in my liner and came equipped with state of the art equipment to get the job done right. They were meticulous and took their time with every attention to detail. Their knowledge and expertise were obvious from the second they arrived. Very impressed particularly with Cayden who braved the icy waters! Respect!

Neptune pools is a pleasure to work with. Their entire staff is professional, shows up on time and does a great job. I especially enjoyed working with Custom Service Rep Brooke. She was extremely responsive and attentive with any issues that we had, which were not issues by Neptune but from having an older pool. She is fantastic. I also really enjoyed working with our Pool Tech Kendell. Great guy who always showed up on time, was personable and worked hard.

Our pool company sold to Neptune this past year. With a little adjusting to it was a good move all around. Brooke, in customer service, was excellent! She is a great communicator and a follow through person. I would highly recommend this company!
