My daughter has attended NELC since July 2025 when she was two years old and we have had a wonderful experience there! The teachers are very comforting at drop off if she is upset, send me updates a few minutes later to show she has calmed down, and at pick up my daughter always says she had a great day. The staff/director have been approachable and easy to get ahold of either via the app, email, or in person at drop off/pick up. The teachers she has are engaged and seem to enjoy what they do. This summer (2026) we also sent our older daughter (6 years old) for summer camp and they both had a great time!
Our son has made so many friends and the teachers communication throughout the day on the app is a true peace of mind. Lots of good things to say about this place.
My younger son attended the universal pre-k at Newman Early Learning Center this past school year. Currently, both of my boys are there for summer camp. During the school year, our son's pre-k teacher was wonderful! My younger son can be very behavioral, but the teacher worked with the team, was consistent, creative, and encouraging. She communicated with me and my husband, on great days and not so great days, but at the end of the day she was always so positive! We just loved the teacher and the pre-k team. The owner of the center Dr. Patty Newman is so welcoming and the whole place is just so warm. She has her own 2 boys there, so walking in everyday feels like a second home. Also, the other staff members are very sweet and professional. It is so challenging and difficult being early childhood teachers, but the Newman Early Learning Center staff support each other. I feel the positivity everyday. I'm so happy that we have such great quality early childhood private center in our town. I highly recommend Newman Early Learning Center as the owner and staff are fun, sweet, very patient, and warm. I'm hoping there will be room for my boys next summer as they both enjoy going.
We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience our son had at this school. The teachers and staff have been caring, patient, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth and well-being. They created a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where he was able to learn, make friends, and build confidence.

My daughter has been attending Newman since she was 6 months old. She has been there for a full year and in her 3rd classroom. Every teacher and classroom has been wonderful. Everyone makes us feel welcome when coming & going. My daughter loves going to school and it’s very rare that she doesn’t get excited to go and run in. She loves the other kids, teachers and seeing the older kids in the morning. Even the kids are well mannered and sweet. We love it here and highly recommend if you’re nervous about sending your child to day care - this is the place to go. Communication has always been great.

My daughter has been attending since October 2025. She was 5 months old when she started in the infant room and we were certainly nervous at first, but our fears quickly went away when we saw the level of care she was receiving every day. All of the staff we have interacted with have been friendly and helpful, and the communication is always great. Even through my daughter’s separation anxiety, we were always reassured that she was okay with frequent pictures of her happy and playing right after she was dropped off. She loves going to school and is always happy to see her teachers and friends!

As someone who stayed home with my daughter until she was 18 months old, I was extremely comfortable and pleased with sending my daughter here. It truly feels like I’m dropping her off to family. My daughter is always excited to see her teachers and friends. I appreciate the teachers at Newman Learn Center going out of their way to make my daughter confortable, and making sure she has her items that calm her down and make her feel safe. Did I mention they provide snacks/ diapers and wash water cups for you?! They truly go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable and comforting to parents. I’m so thankful I found this daycare!!

Newman ELC is an amazing daycare. My 2 toddler boys go there full time and they love being there. Are Always happy to go and want to see their teachers. The center has lots of activities for the kids to learn and stay busy. Tuition is affordable and reasonable. Highly recommended.

It is true - many of the teachers are related and or very close which makes it hard for one to stand up for themselves or their children. Many things do indeed go undocumented when it comes to children's and teachers behaviors. I noticed that when kids are being over stimulated and undergoing hardships in the classroom like biting, kicking, punching, students and teachers, the first thing the staff does which is coming from the director is to give them a tablet to "ease their needs" and then proceeds to put something totally overstimulating on said tablet. Keep in mind those behaviors are in fact supposed to be documented each time and reported to parents. Providing a tablet to children who have difficulty at times does not help teachers or the children regulate their systems. 𝐈𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟐-𝟔 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. Teaching manners, nice hands and feet, and being kind to both other students and teachers doesn't seem to be taught here. To add, multiple staff has complained about a specific teacher on multiple occasions and still the director has not identified those ongoing issues with said teacher because of that said teacher being close to the director. The staff who are not close to the director or the directors "favorites" clearly go unheard and dismissed. This behavior from director and staff will continue since there hasn't been anything done to address behavior from said teacher and director. This place has only been open for 1 year and like I've said - multiple complaints about a single staff member. Nothing being done about inappropriate behavior, body language and tone when it comes down to that specific teacher.

At Newman ELC, we hold our team to clear expectations to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children we serve. When those standards are not met, we take appropriate action.
