Refrigerator was not cooling any more. Called New Star Appliance and Electronics and repairman responded to call in morning and came out same day in the afternoon. Took technician a few minutes to diagnose problem, offered solution and costs upfront. He had the parts in the back of his van and went straight to work changing out the condenser. He was very professional and repair rates were better than the rates of comparable repair companies. Fridge not works again. NewStar saved me from having to buy a new fridge. I will definitely use them in the future for repairs.

I used NewStar services for my Stove/Oven which was not igniting properly. The owner, Amer, was referred to me by a friend with high recommendations. Amer was friendly, prompt, very thorough and definitely knowledgeable. He explained the overall process before the appointment on the phone and even more details in person. He explained potential risks of bad ignition which explained some of the gas smell experienced just before oven was on. He took the time to inspect all areas of the Stove top and Oven, although it is a tight kitchen. It turned out that it was the regulator issue, despite the stove being just a couple year old Kenmore. The part was installed the same day and I didn't experience any downtime in the kitchen. Through our conversation, I found out he also does other electrical work. I had major lighting issues in the kitchen(old designs) as the stove area was pretty dark. Amer helped me with replacing the hood with a more modern, well-lit lighting and better exhaust, of course. He was honest with the pricing and I absolutely feel the money was well spent! He is a contact to keep in your phone. Just like finding a good and trusted mechanic, I feel like I have scored big with finding Amer.
Have been meaning to take care of this really annoying fan issue on my Whirlpool Microwave. Even though I don't use the microwave itself a lot, I use the fan setting when I am cooking on the stove top range. No matter what setting I selected, it was all running at same high, loud speed! Reviews were good and their photos looked legit. Spoke with the owner Amir and scheduled an appt. He showed up promptly as stated, was very friendly and down to earth and provided several options and prices to repair the board issue. While he was here, he was also able to give me some tips to avoid common problems with my GE profile refrigerator ice maker that I had. It's not every day I have an appliance repair issue but will definitely recommend NewStar to my friends and family and use again in future.
