Next Chapter was a huge help in moving my daughter and I out of our former condo unit in the Balfour Condominium complexes in Macomb. I am so grateful to them for their kindness, professionalism and affordability of their rates.<br><br>In response to one review shared by user “Bih UEFA”, who didn’t happen to notice that the Next Chapter Truck was in their complex for almost 2 hours prior to using the complex dumpster: None of the items were oversized, and the dumpster was not overfilled aside from a rug that was water damaged from basement flooding peeking from the top of the dumpster (inevitable). No garbage from a non resident was thrown out in that dumpster and no garbage was outside of the dumpster unit. I understand their frustration as the dumpsters in that complex are often misused and unseemly (one of the reasons why we are no longer satisfied with that living arrangement) but this is not one of those cases. My daughter was using the dumpsters for the same purpose just the weekend before when we came to the conclusion that the job was simply too big for her to handle alone. While I’m sorry that our trash took up so much of the dumpster as I understand that frustration as a former resident, residents filling a dumpster is one of the drawbacks of a community not offering regular trash removal or more dumpsters onsite - so take it up with your association and property management, not a small business who is just helping those who are in need of affordable moving services.

★☆☆☆☆ — 1 Star: Extremely Disrespectful and Unprofessional!<br><br>On October 17, 2026, this company came to a private residential area on Fryer Drive in Macomb Township, Michigan, and dumped their waste into a dumpster designated for residents.<br><br>The dumpster had been completely empty just the day before, but after they finished dumping their materials, it was OVERFILLED! They simply left, showing absolutely no consideration for the people who actually live here and pay for this dumpster service.<br><br>Why should hardworking residents have to pay additional disposal fees because of someone else's irresponsible actions? This is private residential property, NOT a free dumping ground for companies looking to get rid of their waste at someone else's expense!<br><br>I managed to take photographs of the incident, but unfortunately, I couldn't capture their license plate number to provide to the police.<br><br>This kind of behavior is unacceptable, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. If this is how a company conducts itself in residential neighborhoods, it raises serious questions about its professionalism and respect for the community.<br><br>Shameful behavior! Residents should not have to pay the price for a company's irresponsible dumping.

Why not call us and talk to us? Client's pay us to come move their items to their dumpster that they can not do themselves. The only items of ours that we ever throw into a dumpster is our lunch after we're finished. We offer labor only services and some clients hire us to take their contents out to their dumpster. We weren't illegally dumping, we were providing a service for a client that wasn't able to do it for themselves. To make it go quickly we often will load their items in the truck and then pull the truck closer to the dumpster instead of walking it the whole way. So I assure you that our crew wasn't illegally dumping and that this is just a misunderstanding. You really should've called and we would've explained it over the phone. Next Chapter Moving literally saved the day for my family as we made our recent move to a new condo. We used them for both large furniture moving to our new location in addition to basement storage clean out and moving to a storage unit. When moving our furniture they took special care in wrapping and protecting the pieces in addition to protecting the walls of both our old and new rentals. They even made some suggestions to furniture placement in our new condo that really worked better than our plan for the space! Both times they came out the workers were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.<br><br>I really appreciated how well they worked together and the fact that they took the time to communicate with us prior to forming their plans for the best way to load and unload the vehicle. Every decision seemed well thought out, deliberate, and most important, honest and done with integrity. I would call them again in a heartbeat if we ever need their services (although I hope we won’t for at least a few years - lol).<br><br>Last but certainly not least, the cost for their services is incredible - especially when you take into consideration how good of a job they do. The reasonable rate is not at all due to cutting corners or trying to pull a fast one by estimating low and ending up high. Never once did I feel like they were running the clock to push me to an extra hour of payment or taking the long way around doing something to try and take advantage of my time or money.<br><br>Next Chapter made our moving process significantly less stressful so we could focus on settling into a beautiful new condo, and I’ll always be appreciative of it. Just contact them and book - you will NOT regret it!
Excellent service, very fair prices compared to other moving companies. They were upfront with everything. They came early and got my belongings loaded up and moved very quickly. I will definitely be hiring them again and strongly recommend their services.
Dustin & his team were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond. They gave my kids some bags that they loved & even helped some family members put things in their personal vehicles. I cannot recommend them enough, and will happily give their info out to anyone looking for help moving. What they charged was honestly not enough.

Highly recommend! Dustin and his 2 guys moved us yesterday and they were amazing. Super caring with my stuff, hard workers, and reasonably priced. So glad I found them. Would 100% use them again!
