Recurring themes include prompt scheduling, detailed explanations, and transparent pricing. However, lower-rated reviews criticize high costs for simple tasks and delays in addressing failed inspections or warranty issues.

They did the job not complaining about it. But avoid theses scammers. They could of got the job done the same day. Instead schedule it the next day and charge even more. I get it times are tough out there but this was no way to go. 1200 to change out an outlet. I’m very disappointed in these guys. Aaron, Paul, and Matt. Smh.

Needed my power lines reattached. They got a guy out same day, just a few hours later and he worked past dark to get me taken care of. Next-Gen is legit. Shootout to Nathan and Glenn for the good communication and stellar work. Keep it up fellas! 💪
Needed 2 fuse boxes replaced, upgraded meter and grounded. Called Next Gen and Nathan was out same day. Easy to talk to and understand what’s going on. His crew came out, Paul, Anthony and Glenn. Really nice guys. Paul got stung in mouth by a bee and just kept working. They even offered us some of their lunch they ordered. Cleaned up after them selves, just a awesome job.
Very happy with their work.
We have friends, other contractors and inspectors coming out and they all comment on what a good job was done with the electrical.
Highly recommend these guys…..

I highly recommend Next Gen Electric! They came out to my home on short notice to inspect two non-working electrical outlets that resulted from damage that occurred during basement drying/mitigation work by another company.
The other company had to cut into my drywall to address the water damage, and in the process, an electrical wire was cut. Unfortunately, they refused to take responsibility for the damage, leaving me needing to have the electrical issue independently inspected.
Next Gen Electric was professional, thorough, and very helpful. They inspected the wiring, checked the affected outlets, explained what they found, and provided me with a written report documenting their findings. I truly appreciated their willingness to come out on short notice and help me get some clarity on what happened.
Thank you, Next Gen Electric, for your professionalism, prompt response, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a reliable electrician!

Matt and Glen did an amazing job taking care of updating the electric at my house!
I had a few issues and contacted DTE, they fixed what they could with outside but told me to call an electrician in the morning. Next-Gen Electric came that next day and did a thorugh look and did a very comprehensive quote to not only fix the issue but to have the electric upgraded and brought up to current code. I could not be happier with the service provided, and the knowledge that my house is electrically safe.
The other reviews mentioning great customer service are 100% true. This is a local small business who really cares about customer experience. Nathan came over after-hours to check out a funky outlet, and Paul came back after the job to troubleshoot a circuit that was accidentally disrupted by their work in the panel. They treat you like a neighbor, not a number. I will definitely call them first next time I need electrical work done!

Nathan was great from the first phone call to paul, Matt Glenn and Anthony were amazing on the install from start to finish. Clean. Knowledgeable, and polite.
