Nina Alterations & Custom Sewing

Nina made an invisible bustle on my wedding dress that held all night during dancing, dipping, and even getting stepped on! Her price was more than fair and her work is exceptional. Thank you, Nina!

Nina did an incredible job altering a very complicated gown. She basically took the dress down 2 sizes while maintaining the shape and different fabrics. Her timing/pricing is all very fair. She has such a great attention to detail. Would highly recommend and will be going back!

Nina did an amazing job with my military uniforms- she pays close attention to detail and makes the best recommendations for the best "look". She also tailored my uniforms with a turnaround time of five days. I will be going back to Nina every time!

Sorry if this is a long review. For the tailoring I would rate 5 stars and I feel its important to start with that. Customer service I would probably rate with a 1 or 2 stars. I am not sure if there is a language or culture barrier that cause this. I had an appointment to pick up my items and was not able to make it at the agreed time. I message them and asked if it would be ok to pick up at a later time and they agreed. Then I received a call asking to go sooner which I did. Once there I was made to feel bad, embarrassed, irresponsible for asking to go at a different time. I apologized countless times and they continued making me feel bad for even asking to change the time. I honestly feel if they would have just asked me to go on a different date and time that worked for them I would have. I even had another item I wanted them to work on and it was refused for asking to pick up my item at a later time. (They eventually tried to take my item and I declined) this is not about the work but the communication portion and manners. The point of this review is for people to be patient and aware when they make an appointment. I am grateful for their work but not the rest. I would also say this is more on the pricier side...

I had Nina work on two sets of work uniforms for me. Short sleeve shirts and pants. I was very specific on how I wanted the pants to fit and just needed the sleeves on the shirts altered. Nina did exactly what I asked and they turned out amazing. She’s my new go to for alterations. Very pleasant and easy experience.

I needed a dress altered for my birthday and another event, and I'm so happy I found Miss Nina because she is the absolute best at doing this. She took the dress on such short notice and had it done within a day or two. I was very impressed at how swift she was. I recommend her 1000 percent if anyone is looking for alteration services; she is the go to. I will be going to her for all of mine.

I recently needed an alteration done on a fully lined, pleated skirt and with a very quick turnaround. Having had many garments altered, I knew the alteration would not be simple.
