Shot out to the whole promises staff. Ms. Brenna who helped me tremendously, being a recovered alcoholic like me she really knew what to say to help me recover actually having gon through the same process im going through now. They showed me so much love and support. Ms. Kathryn my therapist who even gave me her e-mail for further counseling if needed. All facilitators were amazing. I can’t name them all but even the nurses were insightful and caring. I can’t thank this place enough for helping me with my mental health. If you need mental health treatment this place is definitely a five star. Even the food was good lol and I like to eat ! Thank you promises i look forward to Oneday coming back to run a AA meeting. You’re forever in my heart. 5 stars hands down. Hand up to the lord.

I work in the recovery field and frequently partner with North Atlanta Behavioral Health because of their reputation in assisting those struggling with mental health and/or dual diagnosis. They have extensive programming that keeps clients interested and motivated in improving themselves and rebuilding their lives. We live in a world where mental health struggles exist more than ever. NABH has an incredible crew I’ve met personally that will help an individual with a variety of struggles. I would trust to send a loved one here for treatment.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that North Atlanta Behavioral Health (NABH) is in the process of SAVING my life. I have struggled with Alcoholism my entire adult life. I have tried many different treatment centers from Georgia to Arizona. Nothing has worked long-term. This time after spending 30 days in another in-patient treatment center, I enrolled in NABH’s PhP program. It’s truly been Life Changing! Their incredible staff has helped me delve into the underlying causes of why for four decades, I repeatedly relied on alcohol to mask my feelings. NABH is considered a dual diagnosis program and clearly that’s what I needed. I didn’t need another band-aid in trying to stay abstinent…I needed to address the root causes of why I was drinking myself to death. Thank God for NABH and their amazing Treatment Team!

If you are looking for a place to begin your healing journey this is the place. It’s a safe place to be vulnerable and express yourself freely.

This place is great. I’m here now and we do fun activities every Sunday and during the week we do groups that are very essential to a mental health or substance use recovery!

I did the PHP program for 40 days and am currently doing VIOP. I did stay in sober living for the 40 days as well. My overall experience with the program was great. Starting with the clinical staff, therapist, PRN etc. Amazing overall no issues at all with every one of them, but a shoutout to my personal therapist Katie and Joyace and Devon- yall really made the space safe and taught me so much! Jesse the guy that oversees all Housing situations is an awesome guy that cares so much about the clients! Most of the Techs are amazing people, they truly are some of the hardest workers in this business being on the front lines with us day in and out. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is there were some issues with Techs being disrespectful to clients and situations that should not be accepted and should result in further evaluation for higher treatment or discharge from the program. Not giving the person a second chance ESPICALLY when other clients are directly impacted negatively causing them to feel unsafe in the program. Overall my experience was great, some things could be adjusted but they are headed in a great direction!
