North Lake Weddings & Events

TL;DR: beautiful venue, you will have a beautiful day if you are prepared to do everything yourself and not have a rehearsal, and don’t need any communication from the venue after signing the contract. We toured in March of 2025 for our September 2026 wedding and signed the contract. We were so excited, the venue was beautiful and everything was going great. As we were booking vendors we reached out about a bar service because the contract states “any other bartending service must be approved by north lake” implying they allow other bar services. They shot us down and said they only allow the two listed. Fine, whatever but maybe take that out of the contract. Planning continued, we reached out 08/26/26 about a floor plan to send to vendors and when our rehearsal would be and when they needed details from us. No response. We followed up on 9/2, received a response on 9/5 with no floor plan attached, the incorrect wedding date confirmed (8/26 instead of 9/26) and incorrect rehearsal date confirmed, and that “the details email gets sent the week of the wedding”. We just rolled with it because we assumed they were honest mistakes. We replied asking for the details email early as we have a very busy wedding week and we think we had all of the info they would need. 9/8 we finally received a floor plan, again this is just a lay out of the venue, we assumed we had to draw our own floor plan because they had been so hands off. So we drew our own. (Still no details email) 9/13 we followed up and heard back 9/14 with the “details email”. Our day of coordinator responded with our info. North Lake replied that “the first email didn’t go through” and “why didn’t we ever ask them to build us a floor plan”. Our coordinator followed up 3 more times between 9/14 and 9/23 and received no response. Fast forward to our rehearsal, we get to north lake on Thursday. We arrive with our families and Dan the owner reintroduces himself, walks out of his office and says “I’m so sorry, you’ll have to remind me, which wedding are you, I don’t have any paperwork on you”. Luckily since I am so type A I had printed out all of our info, suspecting this would happen, and we spent our ENTIRE rehearsal going over our floor plan and ceremony layout which should have been handled via email. Dan later said “oh yeah, I think I have this on my phone, but I don’t know how to use it, so I couldn’t see it”. Meanwhile, my sister in law to be, was on my brother’s shoulders pulling twist ties and zip ties and left over ribbons off the ceremony space. Truthfully, if the space wasn’t so beautiful and our coordinator and families weren’t so awesome and able to pull everything together, this review would be much lower.

A beautiful venue for all occasions

North Lake is a DREAM VENUE!! Cannot thank Dan enough for all his help the day before and day of with set up/tear down. We had an amazing day and our dream wedding here at North Lake. The grounds are absolutely beautiful making it a photographers dream place to take pictures. The back deck was perfect for guests to hangout on during the cocktail and night time when they didn’t want to be inside. Along with the staff allowed up to come in early Saturday morning allowing for a great morning getting ready and getting pictures before the ceremony started. Overall, our wedding day was an absolute dream and couldn’t have asked for a better place to do it at!

I really really could this Venue a million stars, every expectation they exceeded by a long shot. This venue is absolutely beautiful, and Dan thought of absolutely everything when building it. Danelle, was amazing to work with as a day of coordinator. She made her self available for questions and we never had to look for her when we had them. Marie and Danelle, were easy to communicate with when it came to payments and logistics before our wedding. We had a rather big wedding and the venue was very spacious and accommodated everyone perfect. Nobody felt crowded. If we ever had a use for another event space, North Lake has our business. Look no further, this is the Venue you want to use!

My Daughter got Married here, Perfect place. Dan, Marie and Danelle were for friendly and easy to work with. We had a blast and will recommend this place to anyone.

We had our wedding back on 10/11/25 and North Lake was a dream wedding venue for us! We absolutely loved having the indoor/outdoor options for ceremony (especially weather permitting). It ended up being the perfect day. So many guests complimented the venues natural beauty & scenery. Everyone at North Lake was super easy to work with and truly felt like a 1 on 1 experience every conversation. They also were able to accommodate us on early entry into venue which was super helpful. I would recommend hosting any sort of event here.

First of all, Dan did an amazing job building this venue. Everything is so carefully thought out. My guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the whole place was from the inside out. I highly recommend booking their coordinator, Danelle. She truly has a gift for what she does and is extremely personable. I knew after our first phone call together that I could trust her with my vision and oh my how she delivered. She eased all anxiety me and my husband had and made sure we knew she would do everything she could to help! She was such a joy to work with. I did tell her I was going to boast about her in this review so Danelle if you’re reading this- you’re the best!!
