Losing our Chase was a difficult experience. We are truly grateful for having Dr. Shann Burroughs guide us through it at home; she was a true blessing. She approached our dog with such tender care and comforted us every step of the way. Being able to hold Chase in his favorite spot meant everything to us. I cannot recommend Dr. Burroughs highly enough to anyone facing this painful time. Her kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten.

Letting my sweet Sasha go was one of the hardest decisions of my life. Dr Burroughs and her assistant made the whole process easier. Dr Burroughs was reassuring, clear with information and such a calming presence to have on such a terrible day. I've had to say goodbye to several pets in my life, this is the only way I'll choose to do it going forward. Also, I really did appreciate the texting service. I could not physically get myself to make a call that morning. Texting made the whole thing easier.

Dr. Burroughs is an excellent choice To help you through this process. Her assistant, Houston set up the schedule for us and Was always available for a phone call. We appreciated Dr. Burrows calm demeanor as she explained everything that would happen. She put us in control of the timing and could not have been more compassionate. It is no wonder she has nothing but five star reviews. This is not the type of work that many people can do and even fewer can do it well.

Our 15 year old pup Bo had slowed down on eating over the last month, then over the weekend he stopped eating completely. He was still drinking water but couldn’t keep it down. It was hard, but we knew it was time. We reached out yesterday and Houston helped us get a same day appointment scheduled. Dr. Burroughs arrived and was so calm and reassuring. Our 3 year old dog is a bit anxious with strangers, and she handled it perfectly. Dr. Burroughs talked us through everything she was doing, and made sure we were setting the pace when it came to saying goodbye. While it was very hard, I’m thankful that Bo got to go at home, out on our porch, with his brother there, and that it was such a peaceful and environment. I would highly recommend Dr. Burroughs to anyone going through this difficult time.

Dr. Burroughs was available same day, kind, compassionate, gentle with us and our pet, communicative about her arrival and informative about the procedure with our pet each. She gave us a beautiful clay paw print at no cost. Her rates were reasonable and competitive. We would highly recommend her without reservations.

Our sweet boy Bear passed very peacefully thanks to the help of Dr. Shann. She came highly recommended and I can see why. From initial intake by the very kind Houston up until the end with Dr. Shann, we felt cared for and listened to. She reassured us of our decision after we were apprehensive and even provided medical examples showing why we were doing the right thing. We have absolutely no regrets, we knew it was time we were just having a hard time accepting it. We are forever thankful. If you are in the unfortunate position of having to say goodbye to your loved pet I would highly recommend getting her help. Thank you for all that you do and for giving us such a calm and peaceful atmosphere to say goodbye in.

We had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our almost 15-year-old Lab/husky, Cali, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Burroughs. We had been struggling tremendously with whether we were making the decision too soon, and she was incredibly compassionate, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. When she arrived, she took the time to examine Cali and immediately noticed that her breathing was concerning and that her gums showed she was anemic. After Cali was peacefully sedated and asleep, Dr. Burroughs examined her abdomen and discovered a large mass that she believed was likely causing internal bleeding. Having that explanation meant more to us than I can put into words. We had spent days questioning whether we were doing the right thing, and she gave us reassurance that Cali was much sicker than we had realized. Most importantly, she treated Cali with such gentleness and dignity. Nothing felt rushed, and Cali was able to remain comfortable at home surrounded by the people who loved her. This was one of the hardest days our family has experienced, but Dr. Burroughs made an awful situation as peaceful as it possibly could have been. I will always be grateful for the compassion she showed Cali and our family. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone facing this incredibly difficult decision.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Shann Burroughs for the compassion and kindness she showed our family during one of the most difficult moments we’ve experienced. Dr. Burroughs came to my dad’s home to help us say goodbye to his beloved cat Puffly. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, gentle, caring, and professional. She took the time to explain medically why this was definitely the right time and why saying goodbye today was what was absolutely best for him. That meant so much to us, especially because we were struggling with the fear and guilt of wondering if we were doing it too soon. She never rushed us, answered all of our questions, and gave us all the time and space we needed to say goodbye. She made a heartbreaking experience feel truly peaceful and dignified, and her compassion extended not only to our cat, but to our entire family. We will always be grateful for the comfort and reassurance she gave us throughout this experience. Thank you, Dr. Burroughs, for helping us through such a difficult goodbye and giving us peace that we were doing the kindest thing for him.

Dr. Burroughs is amazing. Our 17-year-old Chihuahua had reached the end of the line with canine dementia, osteoarthritis and kidney disease. We contacted her @ 10 am during a holiday weekend and received an immediate response. She made herself available that afternoon and arrived promptly on time. So thorough, so understanding, so patient. Dr. Burroughs made an excruciating task not only bearable but comforting. Thank you so much for your kindness and humanity. You were an angel to our little girl!

Making the decision to say goodbye to our sweet Sadie after 16 years was the hardest thing I've had to do. Dr. Burroughs was so calm and treated our sweet girl so well. We have never gone through this process before and she let us know ahead of time what to expect. Our girl hated going to the vets office so having this done in the comfort of our home was what we knew she would want. She rests in a beautiful spot now under a live oak tree in our pasture over looking our horses and chickens.
