Customers rate Northern Pawz highly for its friendly staff, punctual service, and ability to handle anxious or difficult pets. Reviewers frequently praise the convenience of walk-in nail trims, online booking, and fair pricing, noting that dogs often return calm and well-groomed. However, some low-star reviews cite instances of unauthorized charges, communication errors regarding specific cut requests, and concerns about animal safety during procedures.

This is the only place that my Chi/MinPin will let handle her without snipping at them.
They do an excellent job! It’s expensive (I have a tiny dog), but running a business is. They deserve it!

Scout came home looking clean, perfectly trimmed, and so happy. Dan and the whole team are incredibly caring, kind, and easy to work with, which makes the entire experience even better. I don’t normally leave reviews but this one is absolutely deserved! We brought our dog to Northern Pawz today for the first time and we were so impressed. Our dog HATES having her nails trimmed, we have been told by multiple groomers, and even our vet, that they couldn’t get them done because she wouldn’t allow it.…

Our dog HATES having her nails trimmed, we have been told by multiple groomers, and even our vet, that they couldn’t get them done because she wouldn’t allow it. Northern Pawz got them done no problem and they look great, seriously the best they’ve ever looked. She is also half husky so she has a ton of undercoat but they did incredible at deshedding her and she smells fresh and clean! It was obvious they were patient and skilled. We will DEFINITELY be back, highly recommend!!
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and for trusting Northern Pawz with your girl! ❤️ It means the world to us that you took the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We know how stressful nail trims can be for some pups, so hearing that we were able to make it a positive experience is the biggest compliment we could receive. We’re also so happy you loved her deshed and that she’s feeling fresh, clean, and comfortable! Thank you again for your recommendation. We can’t wait to see you both again soon and are so grateful to have you as part of the Northern Pawz family! 🐾💙

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We truly appreciate your support and are so grateful for your business. We’re excited to share that we’re looking into offering more in-house nail trim services in the near future. We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated as those plans come together! Thank you again for trusting us with your pets. We can’t wait to see you and your furry family again soon! 🐾❤️ — Dan & the Northern Pawz Team
I had the most amazing experience today at Northern Pawz. My dog was so anxious and both the owner and Skye, the groomer, helped make my dog feel comfortable and me as the owner leaving her there. I ended up checking in with them because of her anxiety and they said she was doing great so that helped. When I picked her up, she was so so purdy! Pricing is competitive. Will definitely go back.
Thank you for this review! She was the best girl and we can’t wait to have her back!
This is the only place I will bring my little girl. She is very fussy when I try to trim her face but when I take her to her "special groomer" she is super nice to her. I would recommend Northern Pawz. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you so much for this review!
Best place ever

Sarah always does an amazing job grooming Smash! She comes out smelling wonderful and looking her best every time. Smash actually gets excited to visit the groomer, which says a lot! Everyone there is so kind, and the prices are very fair. I couldn’t be happier!
Thank you so much, Jenni! 🐾 We’re thrilled to hear how much Smash enjoys visiting us — that truly means the world. Sarah loves working with her, and we’re happy to know she leaves looking and feeling her best each time. We appreciate your kindness and support. Thank you for trusting us with Smash’s grooming!
