Robert provided a very smooth experience getting an in-person replacement value appraisal for insurance. Robert was able to accommodate my schedule and was flexible when there were public transportation delays. The appraisal was quick, and my insurance accepted it immediately. Robert is a professional and credentialed appraiser who charges a reasonable fee for his time. He also kept my item in my view during the whole appraisal process for my comfort. This is unlike some more unscrupulous individuals/businesses in Manhattan and the diamond district that do not uphold professional standards and indicated they would quote me based on the value of my item and need to take my item into a back room. I am very happy I chose to get my item appraised by Robert, who made the process easy for me and provided thorough and detailed paperwork in line with my stated needs.

Robert Bunda nice gig you got going. I don't care if this man had a1000 positive reviews. He was a disaster. ITS A SMALL ROOM he sits at his desk comparing your pieces to what's on 1st bids and other auction sites (brilliant) He also uses google images which everyone does already. You don't need him. As far as the knowledge he claimed to know he couldn't recognize the stamps on my peices and claimed there worth scrap. One pair of earings he said was worth just the small amount of gold I sold for $7000, I was going to call him on the spot but decided to leave an honest review instead. I nearly scrapped it but i met am honest man in diamond district who looked at the stamp and told me where to go to sell it. Instead I got FREE quotes in the diamond district and the brands he didn't know they did. He claimed one piece I had was valuable and to go to Bomhams. They looked at it and said I got bad advice. Another gold diamond motif brooch he said was scrap....I did scrap because he said brooches are out of style I went online to a facebook group to have them identify it for free and one person immediately recognized it. I'm afraid I lost $3000.00 because he was more interested in squeezing as much time to charge me than actually give me sound advice. I recommend you join a free face book jewelery experts page and save yourself from paying an ameture who just sits at his desk using Google and auction sites to find comparisons wich any child can do. Or just get different quotes. Telling them your not ready to sell just figuring out a ballpark value And you'll get all the free advice you need. Plus there 100× more knowledgeable with brand names and fakes. What a disaster, waste of time, waste of money And he was rushing me. For someone with such a great reputation I was shocked all he had was a computer and a Guage to size up your diamonds. I left so disappointed and more confused than when I came. Turns out all the help I needed was free right from my Facebook page I'm using now. And people in the industry....as long as you make it clear your ot selling just getting quotes. Your truly, I hope i save at least one person money or worse.....losing

We were so lucky to find Robert Bunda! He exceeded our expectations in every way. He inspected the items, told us what they might be worth, and guided us through the whole process of finding a buyer and selling. Robert is an exceptional resource. He is impeccably honest, trustworthy and direct. His fees were very fair and he really seems to care.

I was in contact with the team about receiving an appraisal for a set of rings and never heard back from them after I sent in photos of the pieces. If they were not able to accommodate, a response back would have been courteous.
