Staff was very pleasant when I picked up my godson, Jayce, from school. They followed the necessary protocols to ensure his safety, which made me and his mother grateful. This is a good school, and they offer swimming lessons in the summertime, which is a plus!

Oak Creek Learning Center came into our lives during a rocky season, and I’ll always be grateful for the experience. As a mom, I had my own learning moments when it came to my children’s behavior but the transition and the staff’s patience and support made it feel like something we could conquer and we did. Every single teacher—from the cook to the part-time teachers in other rooms—knew my children by name, and always greeted them with care and kindness. That level of inclusion made us feel truly at home. Oak Creek didn’t just prepare my kids academically for their next steps, they also nurtured their emotional growth and social skills. They rolled with every challenge we brought their way, meeting us with understanding instead of judgment. I even left and came back multiple times, because the treatment my children received there left such a lasting impression. I’ve compared Oak Creek to other centers and it’s clear—they truly excel not only in education, but also in teaching emotional intelligence and building a supportive community. This is the kind of care that sticks with a family for life.
The school and staff are amazing. The owner is very hands on and cares about the safety and wellbeing of every child that attends.

This is the best daycare! It is safe and clean and the teachers are amazing. Renee is wonderful and so helpful.
Look the other way. This place does not put the care of your children first. My son has been going here for months and has literally been sick since the day he arrived. He's been sick longer than he's been healthy. What really annoys me is that kids and babies will be showing noticeable symptoms of illness and they never get sent back home. They had a baby that couldnt even open her eye because it was infected so badly and sure enough, it spread to others. First shame on the parents for sending her off but also shame on the owner for knowing this information and still letting her stay. The price here is cheap compared to others but honestly, I'd rather pay a bit more for peace of mind. I havent had issues with my sons teacher thankfully but then again I dont know what goes on since I dont have access to see my son throughout the day. Dont expect daily updates from your kids.Another thing that stuck with me is a past employee shared the cleanliness of this place and it was very disappointing. They really need to disinfect and thoroughly clean this place.
Hello, I have been the owner of Oak Creek School for almost 10 years. I am sorry for not responding sooner as I don't check this as often as I probably should. This is the first I am hearing about this issue and sincerely apologize for the negative experience that you had at Oak Creek. I am surprised to hear about the baby that had the eye infection that wasn't sent home. We 100% follow state licensing guidelines on when to send a child home sick. They have very strict rules on how to handle these situations. My director has been doing this for over 40 years and does not break the rules under any circumstance. We have even continued to check for fever upon entry for children and staff daily when most schools stopped this practice when covid restrictions were lifted. We do have a toddler in the school that has really aggressive allergies and her eyes swell on occasion. However, she provided a doctor's note saying it was not a contagious illness. I was also shocked to hear about the cleanliness of the school. We clean and sanitize everything multiple times a day. This has been common practice for my 10 years of ownership. Our health department ratings are almost always in the high 90's or perfect. We did have a former staff member resign after she came to work with slurred speech and was asked not to come back to work in that condition. After her resignation, we found out she was contacting parents and spreading many false rumors about the school. Maybe that is the case here. I personally check the school afterhours and on weekends for cleanliness. I would also like to ask if this review is for the correct school? The last time we had a parent with the last name "Wear" was in 2011. If it is the school your child attended please reach out to Renee at the school and ask for my number if you would like to discuss this. I am always happy to hear feedback from parents whether it is positive or negative. At Oak Creek we are always looking for ways to improve the environment for the kiddos. In regards to not getting daily updates, that will be addressed with the entire staff immediately. This is something we don't tolerate and should be done daily for every child until they are school age. Again, I am sincerely sorry for your experience with us and wish I had been able to discuss this prior to your having to change schools. Marcus
My daughter started Oak Creek School a couple of months ago. She was terrified to start this new journey of being away from us. The teachers and staff made her feel welcome and comfortable. They care for her like she is their own. Great facility, director and teachers. Would definitely recommend!
