After a few quote requests for updating our landscaping, Mark, at Oasis Lawncare, was the first to respond and provide a landscape drawing with an itemized and fair quote. Due to the timely response, customer service and positive reviews, we went with Oasis for the job. Tear out old landscape, new border stones, new plants. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst decision and biggest waist of money. Hiring a professional landscape company, I expected professional results but got a DIY job instead. Deposit made 8/11, work completed 11/22. Was suspect of planting flowers and shrubs that late in the year but trusted Marks expertise. Here’s the bullet points: - Crew didn’t follow planned bed profiles in landscape drawing, had to be redone. Mark then asked for additional money for some plants he “ forgot to include” - Had to relocate some plants because they weren’t positioned evenly - looked amateur - Flower bed on opposite side of house apparently wasn’t included in quote so had to shell out more cash again for that - Everything planted had no foliage as it was almost winter so couldn’t tell condition of plants but was assured it would be Okay - Come late spring, 50% of the plants & shrubs were still dead and 25% are diseased. Two plants were planted over top existing plantings and were growing on top of each other. Mark came out and said unfortunately they were out of warranty but he would replace at cost. - After a couple weeks, I didn’t hear anything back. No new quote to approve the cost and type of plants that would be installed or message to schedule installation. Surprisingly, Mark shows up unannounced and replaced some of the plants - 3 were replaced with something different than originally planted and now have an unbalanced look. Two are still dead and weren't replaced (I didn’t want to pay for it anyway). A few days later I get a bill for the work and I finally understand how much it all would cost me. Although Oasis Lawncare is responsive and knowledgeable, I would not recommend due to unprofessional result, added costs above approved estimate and wife’s not happy!

Mark Cunningham, Landscape Field Operations Manager, is the epitome of customer service! We recently had some work done on our landscaping lighting, and Mark made sure it was done right and to our satisfaction. I especially appreciated his personal touch and follow up. Unfortunately, customer service isn't what it used to be or should be; Mark is the rare exception.

Post is updated below…Terrible work, his crew were very nice and worked hard but the work is sloppy and wasn’t done right. First they brought the wrong rocks, then they talked us into doing a natural edge instead of bricks. Showed the owner several times the correct rock and where it was at, he brought the wrong rock and went to a different place. Came back out and attempted to correct the not done natural edge and just made a mess and continued to tell me the rock I wanted was way more expensive and he got his at a different place so I guess oh well. I would never recommend this company after the trash job they did and wrongs they made. Pictures attached not a professional job at all……….😠 update on review, after several conversations, the crew returned and came up with an acceptable solution to fix the natural edge. I updated my stars to a 4 instead of a one due to the fixed solution but still leaving the last star off due to all the issues and not getting the exact rock asked for. I appreciate the hard work and like how it looks now and am thankful it is finished. They did a good job now that the job is finished. Really enjoyed speaking about the Lord with the head crewman. I understand things happen so when hiring just make sure you explain and have the same information before and after the job so it all goes well. Thank you for fixing the issues so we can now enjoy.

Mark and his crew came out and did some finish work on my lawn. Did a great job for a very reasonable price. Will use again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking to get yard or landscape work done!

Without hesitation, I highly recommend Oasis Lawncare. I have used their lawn service in the past and most recently their tree service. I had a tree uproot that required extensive work to extricate the tree as it had grown into my chainlink fence. Larry worked hard until the job was done. Adam is a whiz with a chainsaw! They also trimmed another tree and trimmed and shaped my boxwoods beautifully. They did a very thorough job cleaning up. Their prices are fair, and their employees are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have more work to be done later and I will call no one but Oasis. I love that it's a family-owned, local business.

I had what equalled to a bad experience with this company. They came out to mow and walked all over my flowers/plants/landscaping while talking to each other. They also cut a chunk about the size of a volleyball out of my dirt and grass with one of their pieces of equipment and when we said something about it they were dismissive and had an attitude. At one point, they knocked on the door to inform me they couldn’t fit their equipment through our chain link gate and would have someone come by later who could fit through and finish the job. That never happened but I’m honestly not surprised because my husband eventually asked them not to come back because they made him upset with their crappy attitude. On top of that, they drove away while flipping us and our entire neighborhood the finger. A little later that day I was billed $390 for mowing the front yard only and a previous stick pile cleanup that they weren’t informed of by their office so we had to direct them on what to do. Not an overly awesome experience with this company especially when they have such awesome reviews online. When you book an appointment, take note of the long disclosure. They’ve obviously been sued many times or have at least had issues with their work vs. the expectation/experience on the customer end of it. Also, the first group of guys that cleaned up the stick pile asked my husband if he was ‘at least going to help’ . No. We’re paying you for that.
