I found Odyssey after an extensive search for a quality LSAT tutoring service. This culminated in a call with them to discuss the best possibilities from which I decided on the 25 hour tutoring package. I choose this in part because it also included the weekly live online class as well as their own guides, question banks, and books, etc.
I have worked with Jake Graber-Lipperman for almost two months now. He has always been quite thorough and responsive to my needs as a student. We choose to focus more heavily on the logical reasoning portions because that is where I have struggled in the past. He has always been patient in his instruction and kind with his corrections. He utilizes PowerPoints to familiarize each question type by its trademarks and tricks. Jake has given me consistent feedback in both verbal and written form each week. He was even conscientious enough to check in with me on the deadline to ensure I had registered for the actual test, which I really appreciated with my busy life.
While Odyssey is one of the more expensive LSAT test prep services, I think in this case you get what you pay for. I have utilized the weekly online class time to review or preview what I learn with Jake. And while I haven’t retaken my test yet, I feel significantly more confident and capable this time around compared to when I had previously studied independently. Bottom line is if you need personalized attention, this program will help you gain confidence and

I found Odyssey through extensive online research, culminating in a call with a representative to discuss their offerings and what would work best for my learning style. I choose the 25 hour tutoring package because it included the live online class as well as some other features (their books, guides, practice questions etc).
I’ve worked with Jake G. for almost two months now and he’s been incredibly helpful. He has useful aids like PowerPoints where we can review various question types and their details/hallmarks. We choose to focus on logical reasoning primarily because that is where I have struggled in the past. In my experience Jake has always been patient with his instructions and kind with his corrections. He is positive and gives consistent feedback in both verbal and written form. He even was thorough enough to check in with me on the deadline to ensure I had remembered to sign up for the test itself.
Odyssey is one of the more expensive prep programs, but I think I’m really pleased with what I got vs. what I paid for it. If you need more personal attention give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.
