Fast service and good work
- Price assessment: Reasonable price
- Services: Garage door consultation

Customers frequently highlight punctual arrivals, clear communication, and efficient repairs or installations of springs, openers, and full doors. Most reviewers describe the staff as professional and note that pricing is generally reasonable, though some mention costs being slightly higher than expected. A recurring criticism involves communication breakdowns, such as missed appointments or pressure to pay before work completion, and one instance of installing the wrong product color despite specific orders.

Fast service and good work
We had our wooden garage door replaced with a Clopay metal door last year. Here's what happened and my experience since. Wrong door. I paid extra upfront for a brown door, and on Nov 11 2025 they installed a white one. They offered a partial refund of about $200 to keep it, but I wanted what I ordered and paid extra for. They did come back on Dec 9 2025 and install the brown door. Installation problems. After that, the left side of the door sat higher than the right. That left a 1.5" gap at the bottom left corner, a buckled top seal, and gaping exterior trim (see photos). When we questioned the bottom left gap at installation, we were told the seal would drop fully once it warmed up. It never did. Warranty response. This fall I reached back out to have someone come look at the gap again since it was still present almost a year later, and we have noticed the door appearing not to be hung level. A technician measured the floor-to-header height of the opening, 97" on the left and 96.5" on the right, and blamed that 0.5" difference for the gap. A 0.5" difference can't explain a 1.5" gap. He said leveling the door wouldn't help because it was "basically level." The third photo below shows the door he called level, with the high left side, the sloped top, and the gap at the bottom left corner. The only fix they'd offer was a larger bottom seal, and it wouldn't be free. The overall customer service experience was extremely poor from all issues we experienced with this company. Second opinion. I called Central Door Systems, who came out the same day, agreed the door wasn't hung level and that the header was fine, and re-leveled the door. The fourth photo shows the door after their fix, with the gap closed. They also found the exterior trim had been cut too long, which is why it was gaping, and shortened it so it sits flush. To be fair, we also had two door lift systems installed by them and haven't had any issues with those. But I wouldn't recommend them for door installation or warranty service. Edit to respond to the reply: Thanks for responding. My experience was that your technician, after consulting his boss, told me the fix wouldn't be free because the cause was my header not being level, and that leveling wouldn't solve it. The measurements I was given (0.5" floor to header) don't explain a 1.5" gap. Before your visit, a concrete leveling company inspected the slab at the base of the door and found it level, so the concrete wasn't the issue. Central Door Systems then re-leveled the door the same day, found the header was fine, and the gap closed. The door itself wasn't hung level.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. We want to clarify several points about our recent warranty visit. Our technician documented the floor conditions at the opening, including a roughly 3 in a quarter inch difference across the concrete, and took photographs. Those records show the slab is not level which affects the clearance beneath the door and how the bottom seal meets the floor. The statement that we offered only a larger seal , and that correcting the door’s position would not be free-does not reflect the options discussed. We offered to adjust and re-level the door under warranty at no charge- the same type of adjustment you literally chose to have Central Door Systems perform. Our technician explained the potential consequences of that adjustment, including slack in the cables and an increased risk of the floor coming off track. He was explaining those risks ,not refusing to perform the work. We also discussed a thicker bottom seal as another way to better close the gap. We’re glad the adjustment resolved the cap for you. We regret that our explanation did not meet your expectations and we’re available to review our visit records and photographs with you directly.

The cable on our garage door broke on a Friday. We reached out to them on Saturday and they came to the house on Monday. Chris arrived right at 2pm (at the beginning of the timeframe we were given). He was friendly and informative. He let me know the problem and the process to fix it. He completed the work by 3:20pm. Everything looks great and works perfectly. We would definitely use Ohio Garage Door Repair again and highly recommend them.
