The new space is better so that's a plus, however there's less space to maneuver in some spots and it's unfortunate that dogs are allowed. I don't understand the reasoning. We don't need dogs on top of food tables, and people are not respectful of personal space. It's not enjoyable to stroll around with so many dogs everywhere.
Also, while there are good vendors this market needs more variety. There are vendors waiting to get into this market, and meanwhile there are 5 or 6 juice vendors? It doesn't make sense. This market needs more baked good vendors and less juice. Also what happened to the orthodox church? They were excellent.
It's unfortunate this market doesn't respond to feedback.
The market is back outside at it's new location. Plenty of free parking nearby. Great produce at McClendon's Select. Lots of vendors including fresh eggs, local honey, the sausage and biscuit guy, the Indian food guy, paella, pizza, bread and more.
My Saturday morning vibe the best way to start my day supporting local farmers and enjoying nutrition fresh fruits veggies bread food and crafts and everything in between. My happy happy place. The energy of the people is what it should be everyday not just Saturdays . Come and support you want be disappointed.
Sadly, this market is no more, at least at this location. It’s a construction zone now to expand the parking decks.
Still giving it 5 stars as it was a great market to attend on a Saturday morning. Hopefully, it returns somewhere close by soon.
The vendors are all so nice and friendly! We buy almost all our groceries for the week at the farmers market. Its the best! You can support local growers and make meaningful conections in the community.
