Hiring Kim at Olive & Rose Events for month-of coordination was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! After putting so much into planning, I really needed someone I could trust to hand the reins over to and bring everything across the finish line—and thank goodness we found Kim! She was organized, thoughtful, and reassuring, and made me feel so confident that all our hard work and details were in great hands. On our wedding day, Kim and her assistant, KiLee, were absolutely amazing. They handled all the behind-the-scenes details so we could be fully present and enjoy the day with our favorite people. A special thank-you to them for all of their help with setup, day-of logistics, and packing everything up at the end of the night! Even when I forgot to bring my second dress over to the venue, they were able to problem solve for me to get it :) It is such a relief to have people you trust bringing your vision to life, and we are so grateful we had Kim and KiLee in our corner. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

Working with Kim was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Planning long distance while navigating a cross-country move, a new job, and my mom becoming unexpectedly ill was more than I could have managed on my own. Being able to rely on Kim took an enormous amount of pressure off me. She connected us with an incredible team of vendors who understood our vision and, just as importantly, our budget. From design and rentals to helping us make thoughtful decisions about where to spend and where we could save, she listened to what mattered to us and made our wedding more beautiful than I could have imagined. On the wedding day, while I was upstairs getting ready, Kim and her team were downstairs completely transforming the space. I never saw the work or stress behind any of it—I simply walked into something beautiful. Her relationships with her vendors made everything feel seamless. Several guests told us afterward that it was one of the most beautiful, and even the best, weddings they had ever attended. What I will remember most, though, is Kim's kindness during an incredibly difficult time. My mom passed away just days before our wedding, and Kim immediately stepped in to create a beautiful memorial table for her. I didn't have to manage the details—she understood what was needed and took care of it. Kim is not only an excellent wedding planner; she is someone you can truly trust when life doesn't go according to plan. Kim was amazing! We hired her as our 3 month wedding coordinator, but even a year out she was very willing to answer our questions and give us vendor recommendations. She went to every final vendor meeting with us and created a very comprehensive timeline that she updated constantly. Our wedding day went completely smoothly and was stress free for everyone thanks to Kim!

Hiring Kim was one of the best wedding decisions we made. She made sure the day flowed smoothly (and on time) and she took many tasks off of our plates. She coordinated seamlessly with all of our other vendors. Leading up to the wedding, she was responsive and helpful anytime we reached out. Day of, she was a calming, positive presence who kept all the pieces in place. I will happily recommend her to all my friends and family who are getting married in the Pittsburgh area. Even our vendors were thrilled when they found out Kim was coordinating—everyone instantly relaxed knowing things would be handled and communicated perfectly. We absolutely LOVE Kim and the Olive and Rose team! My husband and I live out of state so we knew we needed a great wedding planner local to Pittsburgh to help us plan our multi-day, multi-cultural wedding weekend. From the beginning, Kim helped us get organized by mapping out timelines, helped us sort out our budget, and really listened to our vision - and she helped us bring it all to life! No ask from us was too big or too small for Kim. She connected us with all the best vendors in the area (and even helped us contract vendors from outside the area) and facilitated communication and calls with all of them, arranged in-person meetings and tastings, all around our schedule. Her exceptional pre-planning was just what we needed to ensure our wedding and sangeet vision came to life flawlessly. Kim's support the week of the wedding was also unmatched. She and her team handled everything from start to finish - vendor set up/tear down, logistics, event run through, etc. and it truly allowed me, my husband and our families to sit back and enjoy the perfect weekend that she helped us create! We hired Kim from Olive & Rose for our September wedding, and I’m so glad we did! My husband was a bit skeptical at first, thinking we could handle everything ourselves—but now he’ll tell you it was one of the best decisions we made. I’m naturally a planner and a DIYer, and with a backyard wedding, I knew we’d need some extra help along the way. I’ll admit, I panicked a little when Kim reached out to ask if I’d be okay with her passing our wedding to another coordinator. In the end, I agreed—because I wanted to make sure another bride had her perfect day, too—and I’m so thankful I did. Kim introduced me to Ali Simcho from Wanderlust Weddings, and she was absolutely wonderful. We had several Zoom meetings to ensure she was completely up to speed on my vision. Between Kim, Ali, and Ali’s assistant Ashley, our wedding day was everything I had dreamed of and more. They made sure we had everything we needed from the rental company, that the caterer was fully set up, and handled countless little details behind the scenes that made the day run flawlessly. Ali also went above and beyond the day of the wedding—she was able to switch gears quickly when our original ceremony spot was overtaken by the band setup. With a big pivot and some fast coordination with the bridal party, she made it all work perfectly. It turned out even better than I imagined! I can’t recommend Olive & Rose (and their amazing partners) enough! They made our day stress-free, beautiful, and absolutely unforgettable.
