Google reviewers rate Optics Soho 4.9 out of 5 based on 144 reviews, with the owner responding to only 6 percent. Positive feedback highlights thorough eye examinations, friendly staff, and a wide selection of eyewear, while noting that insurance processing is often smooth. However, low-star reviews indicate recurring issues with customer service, including rude interactions, incorrect insurance information, and last-minute appointment changes that disrupted scheduling.

Recently had my eye exam and all I can say is that they were very professional, very helpful. They also carry one of the nicest eye glasses collection in the area.
Excellent experience with Dr. Marks and the whole team! The staff was friendly, professional, and got me through my appointment quickly while still being very thorough. Plus, taking care of everything with my VSP insurance was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend this practice!
Yesterday,I had my first appointment with Dr Marks. First of all the entire staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. They explained all aspects of my exam and visit. Dr Marks was especially helpful and explained every aspect of my eye examination and the results. She is very caring and helpful in understanding the exam results. I would recommend Optics Soho and Dr Marks ,very highly.
Dr Marks is wonderful!
I have been going to optimists for several decades in 8 different states. Optics Soho is the best place I've EVER been to. I moved 30 miles away and it's well with the drive. From the docs to the staff, the care and service are "spec"tacular. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Dr. Marks is amazing. So kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. Best eye doc in Tampa!
I’ve been going to Optics SOHO for well over 10 years! Dr. Billig’s examinations are thorough and his equipment absolutely the latest. Their choices of glasses styles give you plenty to choose from. I have extra frames in different colors just for fun! And their customer service?… I think Scott has been there from the very beginning. They are definitely there to help you from picking out frames, scheduling appointments, or making repairs, it’s done quickly and efficiently. Do I recommend Optics SOHO? Quite frankly, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
