Origins Montessori School

We have had such a wonderful experience at this daycare, and we truly cannot say enough good things about the teachers and staff. Our child has been attending here, and from the beginning, we felt that she was in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment. As parents, one of the most important things is knowing that your child is genuinely cared for when you are not there, and we always had that peace of mind here. Our child was always happy to go to daycare, and seeing how comfortable and excited she was made us feel so grateful. The teachers have been incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They did so much more than simply take care of the children during the day. They helped them learn, become more independent, build friendships, and grow socially and emotionally. We especially appreciated the warm classroom environment they created, where the children could have fun while learning and developing important skills. What we appreciated most was how well the teachers got to know each child as an individual. They paid attention to their personalities, interests, and little changes in their daily lives. We always felt that our child was truly seen, understood, and valued, rather than simply being one of many children in the classroom. We are especially grateful to all the teachers who have cared for our child over the years. Their kindness, patience, and dedication have made such a positive impact. We know how much energy and heart it takes to care for young children every day, and we truly appreciate all the love and effort they put into their work. It is bittersweet for us to say goodbye as our child moves on to the next chapter. We will miss the teachers, friends, and the wonderful community we have been part of. Looking back, we feel very lucky that our child had the opportunity to spend such an important part of her early childhood here. If you are looking for a daycare where your child will be cared for with genuine warmth, kindness, and attention, we highly recommend this place. We are leaving with so many happy memories and a very grateful heart. We absolutely loved our time at Origins. As a first-time mom, I was so nervous to drop my son off at school, but I loved the communication with the staff and how they treated and engaged with him. Ms. Prishanthi was the best teacher we’ve ever had, and we miss her so much! We had a unique schedule situation, and Ms. Buddhini worked with us—I’m so grateful for her flexibility and support.

I can’t recommend this daycare highly enough. Our daughter Inessa attended from the time she was 2½ years old all the way until she started kindergarten, and those years meant so much to our family. The teachers created such a warm, caring environment that Inessa truly thrived. She formed real bonds with her teachers and the other children. now, after starting kindergarten, she still talks about them and misses her teacher and her friends. We always felt she was safe, nurtured, and genuinely valued. Thank you for the wonderful care you gave Inessa. We will always be grateful.

I have had a wonderful experience with Origins Montessori School. The teachers are warm, patient, kind, and genuinely care about each child. From the very beginning, the school has felt like an extension of my family. When my son first started, it was a difficult transition because he had never been separated from me before. However, with the teachers' patience, care, and support, he quickly became comfortable and confident. Now he loves going to school every day and is always excited to see his teachers and friends. I feel confident that my son is safe, happy, and well cared for every day. I have seen tremendous growth in his confidence, independence, and love of learning. He has made wonderful friends, enjoys learning, and comes home excited to share what he has learned and experienced. I am incredibly grateful for the caring teachers and supportive community at Origins Montessori School. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and high-quality Montessori education.

My daughter Elodie (3.5) has been at Origins for about a year & a half. Before this, she was home with me all day every day, so to say I was hesitant to drop her off with "strangers" would be an understatement. We toured a handful of places & they all seemed fine, but this one really stood out from day one. When I went in for the tour, the owner & I were sitting and chatting and a couple of the students came up to us (just to be nosy kids and see what the adults were doing, as expected!) and the way I saw her interact with each of them made my mind up for me. Not necessarily because of the way she was engaging with them, because I know that could be misleading since I was sitting right there, but mostly because of how the kids acted around her. They were very respectful as though they knew she was in charge, but they also ran up to give her a hug and sit on her lap as soon as they saw her, which told me they feel very safe & comfortable with her. My daughter is also receiving Occupational Therapy once/week, and the school has been very accommodating to her needs & making sure her therapist always has a place for the two of them to work. We love all of the teachers, and they (as well as the owner, Ms. Buddhini) are always exceptional at communicating with me. I could go on & on about the positive ways Origins has impacted my little girl. In summary, it is a place that I can drop her off at in peace and go about my day knowing she's being cared for with patience, kindness, and gentle (but firm) guidance. I would recommend this school to all of my loved ones' littles.

My son has been at Origins for a year and a half. He started at 18 months old and we are all so happy. He loves going to school. Mrs. Buddhini and Mrs. Prishanthi have created a wonderful, homey environment with good teacher consistency. They know my son so well and are super flexible. The small setting is a huge plus as well. Couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else, we are incredibly thankful to have found such an incredible school on the first try!

During our time at this school, our child began showing signs of anxiety and hesitation about attending class. As parents, we noticed a clear change in his confidence and emotional well-being. After transferring to another school, we saw an immediate improvement in his happiness and self-confidence. This was our personal experience. My intention in sharing our experience was simply to describe what we observed as parents during our child’s time in the classroom. Every child experiences environments differently, and in our case we noticed a significant change in our child’s confidence and emotional well-being while he was there. We have absolutely loved OMS and will miss it soo much!! My little one has grown and blossomed with the exceptional team here. The director and staff are all warm, loving, and extremely qualified educators. My little one went from being extremely shy her first day, to looking forward to school each day. The activities were always fun, and their approach really instilled independence, confidence and curiosity in my child. It has been a very special experience , this school is wonderful!!

Highly recommend this place. Our son went here for about 3 years from ~3 years of age and he loved it from day 1. The difference was night and day when he walked in on first day - how comfortable he was at Origins compared to his reluctance at the previous place. He has now started kindergarten and all the life skills he has learnt here is allowing him to thrive in the next phase of his growth. We are eternally grateful for the warmth, personalized care and attention the team has given all the kids & appreciate how they coached them in the early impressionable days while letting them have fun and be kids. Once again, highly recommend this hidden gem. It has grown over the years as has the team. Wishing them well in the future!
