Partnering with Oso Events to plan our wedding was, without exaggeration, the single most impactful decision made during the process. In the year leading up to our wedding, Michelle, Raymundo, and Gennie checked in frequently on important decisions and key milestones; they gave us time when we needed time and space when we needed space. When we were adamant about executing on a specific vision, they were both supportive and realistic about what was possible. Our food, our cake, our music, our aesthetic, and small, personal touches—they were all done perfectly. And when we had no opinion or experience with a specific topic, they’d provide helpful recommendations informed by their deep firsthand experience and network of Bay Area vendors (all of whom showed the same respect and top-notch communication as the Oso team). Over the last few years, we’ve seen well over a dozen close friends get married. Many of them shared stories about the immense stress that comes along with planning a wedding. More than anything else, the Oso Events team completely eliminated that. They made planning our big day a genuine joy. On the wedding day itself, nothing felt rushed or compromised. It was everything we hoped for and more. Even one uncontrollable twist—a hundred degree Bay Area heatwave for our outdoor venue—felt like no big deal as Michelle and Raymundo worked tirelessly to ensure we guests were hydrated, shaded, and that even the little chocolates in their favors weren’t melted. When we reflect on our wedding, it will always be perfect not only because of the people who were a part of it, but because of the people who made it possible. *update: 10/18/26 I’m still not happy how it went. Our first year anniversary is coming up, and I specifically requested my husband not to revisit anything involving the wedding. oso events ruined the memories for us including the photos that I have a hard time looking. Review from early 2026: I had my wedding in November 2025. I hired Oso Events for partial planning. Although my family enjoyed the wedding and adored at how Oso events team worked together, I ultimately ended up hating the entire planning process and my wedding. To this day, I could not watch my wedding video and really sit down and look at the photos. I will have to step away from this again and share the details later. Evidently, I’m having a hard time just thinking about it. Bottom line, I wish I never had my wedding. I could never forget the inconsistency I experienced working with some of the members throughout the planning, and how the emergency kit on the wedding day wasn’t fully replenished. Michelle tried to make it right leading up to the wedding day, but things just fell apart on the day of. Something so small like hairspray really made a difference in how it turned out. The flowers on the cake were such a joke and did not align with the recent inspo photos I shared. I hate my wedding day, and I could never go back and do it differently.

We booked Oso for partial planning, and honestly our only regret is that we didn't go with full planning. The thing we were most nervous about going in was blending two families and two cultures, Vietnamese and Peruvian, into one day. Michelle and Raymundo handled it perfectly. Both sets of parents were genuinely comfortable around them, which is no small feat. Our families felt included and looked after. The few months leading up to the wedding were a lot for us: new jobs, a move, and a few other big life changes stacked on top of each other. Oso absorbed an enormous amount of that stress. They kept us on a clear timeline and consistently reminded us of what needed to be done and by when, so we never had to scramble at the last minute (even though we still did it to ourselves a few times :D). Even before that, their vendor suggestions saved us so much guesswork. A special shoutout to Gennie, who played a huge role in finding, booking, and coordinating our vendors throughout the whole process! The day itself was completely stress-free. Raymundo was fantastic at keeping everyone on time while still leaving us room to breathe, spend real time with our guests, and actually take it all in. But what stayed with us most is the way this team shows up in the small moments. Michelle texted and then called Suzanne that morning to make sure she was awake and remind her that hair and makeup were arriving in 30 minutes. When Suzanne needed a pin for her dress later on, one appeared instantly from Michelle's magic bag. During family photos I got a white mark on my tux, Raymundo radioed Michelle, who turned up seconds later with a wet wipe and had the spot cleaned up before anyone noticed. These are little things, but they're the ones that matter in the moment. In the days and weeks after the wedding, we got SO many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked and how smoothly the whole day ran. That was all Oso. If you're on the fence about hiring a planner: do it, and hire Oso. And if you can, go for full planning.

The Oso team was everything we needed and could've asked for! My husband and I are so glad we had Michelle, Raymundo and their team with us the whole way during the wedding planning process. They were so helpful in finding us options that fit our needs/budget and kept track of everything so well. Michelle even helped me bring some of my DIY visions to life and I'm so grateful for the table mock up session she held for us to iron out the decor details. On the day of, their team was so attentive to all the little details, from setting the decor to making sure we had food and drinks at all times. We were fortunate enough to be able to use their photobooth set up too, which was a big hit with our friends and family. They even kept us on schedule throughout the ceremony and formalities of the reception. Most people say wedding planning is the worst, or it's so stressful, but with Oso Events, you really feel like someone's always in your corner to help advocate what you want on your big day.

My experience with the Oso event team was amazing! They worked the hardest to have everything on point and would put forth energy to have exactly the way we want it for our wedding. They would also ask us questions that we wouldn’t have thought about leading up to the wedding. I felt like my wedding day was stress free because of how they transition things for us. They kept us fed through the day with some snacks when we had a little breather room in between timeline. The whole time working with them, I didn’t have any doubts.

Michelle and Raymundo were absolutely amazing to work with! Our wedding took over a year to plan, and they were there every step of the way, along with Gennie, who definitely deserves a special shoutout as well! My (now wife) and I both have very busy work schedules, and they were always incredibly flexible and helped handle so many things behind the scenes so we didn’t have to constantly worry about every little detail. They gave us so much guidance and support throughout the entire planning process and always made us feel like we were in good hands. On our wedding day, Michelle and Raymundo were professional, punctual, and made sure everything stayed on schedule. What we really appreciated was that they didn’t just focus on the timeline—they made sure we had enough time for photos while still giving us time to actually eat, enjoy ourselves, and catch up with our guests. Our wedding truly would not have gone as smoothly without them. One thing that especially deserves mentioning is that our venue went through a change in ownership during the planning process. It was definitely something that made us nervous, but Michelle and Raymundo were there to guide us through it and helped make sure our wedding contract would still be honored under the new ownership. We are so grateful for Michelle, Raymundo, Gennie, and the entire team. They made the whole process so much less stressful and helped us have the wedding day we had been planning for over a year. We can’t recommend them enough!

Michelle, Raymundo, and Gennie were SO helpful for our wedding planning. They are professional, organized, and well-connected to a strong network of vendors. A lot of the process ended up just interviewing the vendors that they found and recommended once we told them what we were looking for, which was fairly painless (especially as compared to typical wedding planning). The day of went off completely without issue, which was a minor miracle given that it ended up being almost 12 hours of coordination. I cannot recommend them more highly, and I will always be appreciative that they made our celebration so easy to manage - we really couldn't have done it without them <3

From beginning to end, team oso was a dream to work with. They executed every detail to absolute perfection. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives. Communication with the team was clear and consistent, and anything we wanted, they were sure to note and take care of for us. Hands down, hiring team oso was one of the best decisions we made and anyone in the market for a coordinator / planner will be in great hands with them. Thank you for such a beautiful day <3
