I was referred to Outback Deck by another company due to location and size of work. From the first communication, it has been a wonderful experience. When Nate Allison arrived (on time!), he educated me about potentials issues associated with a 100 yo old home, permitting, product selection, warranty, pricing, understanding my budget, and financing. He was not a salesperson, but an educator. Very professional, polite, and friendly. Learning that Nate has a background in construction also gave me additional comfort because he was providing a professional — not a sales — perspective. I am excited for this project to start and am looking forward to enjoying my new deck. Highly recommend calling Outback Deck and asking for Nate!

I recently had my old deck replaced. It was over 30 years old and pretty bad shape. I contacted Outback Deck and they gave me estimates of replacement options. They were friendly, professional, and didn't try to "upsell me'. The work was completed in about 2 weeks and the results are fantastic. They kept me informed every step of the way. I recommend them highly.

VERY excited to start this project of new deck and outdoor living space. Give Outback a call and ask for Jaime - repeat customer still very satisfied with quality and professionalism. 2017: Having completely renovated two houses here in Atlanta area, I have used many companies. Outback did a fantastic job from design, to accurate quoting, to build out and into completion. The same foreman was at my job daily and had great communication. The additions/changes I made to the project were explained in detail for duration, cost, and construction considerations. I will be using them again when it is time for my next project!

Outback was amazing to work with. We built a timber tech deck and screened 3 seasons room underneath. Everything was perfect.

Had these folks quote two levels of decking replacements (1x6 decking), railings and some screens. Quoted cost -$70,000. 10% the value of my home. And the quote took 2 hours to educate me about why this is the best option and why this contractor is worth the investment - financing options included…. But if I pay right now the price is only $59k so what a deal! (I have been in the construction industry for 25 years - this is predatory). Sales associate was very professional so not knocking him. Obviously this was a non starter so we quickly sent the sales rep away. They also explained why they sub out the work due to W2 issue (meaning lowest cost subcontractor - be sure to ask about that) but they cover all liability which we all know minimal. They also commented on the multi million dollar backlog thru have - 4 people - imagine that. Suckers. A month later they contacted us with a “special rate” and wanted to requote with the new “special price”. Our response - at 75% off you are still non competitive. These guys prey on ignorance - and urgency to repair. If a company can’t quote a reasonable rate at the first time around then the sale is predatory. Don’t waste your time - go with a more reputable business. Apparently all their Amazon Prime commercials are absorbing any (un)reasonable profits. I didn’t want to do the work myself but I took the 2 months to do it myself with Trex composite decking and Trex railings myself for $3800 for the bottom deck. I will do the top with the leftovers or less than $4000.. Sealed all the joists with urethane tape and trimmed out all the posts with caps and base trim with pvc capping. Rip off from these guys. Do Not Do Business With These Folks. Caveat emptor. Here’s the quote and what they did for pennies on the dollar. Educate yourself before you do any construction.
