Ovation Hospice

Ovation Hospice provided a mixed experience for our family. Nurse Marcie was truly wonderful—compassionate, attentive, and steady throughout. Aide Christi was also exceptional and brought so much kindness and care. Unfortunately, the rest of the team felt distant. The social worker and chaplain had minimal involvement, offering only a few calls each and even missing an appointment without any explanation by the social worker. After my mom passed, we received no follow-up or support from the organization, even several days later. The individuals who showed up for us were excellent. I am hoping that follow up happens soon, and I can change the review. Update: I am changing my rating from three stars to two. Since writing my original review, I have been stood up multiple times and contacted during extremely difficult moments when I have stated that I am not available. I reached out to the supervisor several days ago and have not received a response. I truly wish the support system were more reliable—there are people navigating profound loss who genuinely need consistent support. If someone from the organization would like additional information, I am open to being contacted.

I highly recommend Ovation for families with aging parents in need of qualified home healthcare support. Ovation stepped in when my parents needed them most, providing not only skilled medical care but also building a strong, trusting relationship with our family. Their staff are gentle, reliable, and professional, always treating my parents with dignity. I am especially grateful for the doctors who oversaw my father’s care, easing our stress while supporting my mother through a challenging time. Finding the right healthcare team is deeply personal and often overwhelming, which is why Ovation stands out as truly exceptional.
