We had a flooding incident that left a portion of the main living area within our home with water damage that required drywall, flooring, and painting restoration. We chose Overton to perform the necessary work, and they proved to be an excellent choice. From start to finish they demonstrated the total package… excellent communication, honesty, utmost professionalism, top notch quality and craftsmanship, diversified skills and expertise, and they were clean, careful, and efficient each and every day. We could not have been happier with the results, and would not hesitate for a moment to recommend this company to ANYONE. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we’ll be going back to them again, should any similar needs arise in the future.

We had Derek and Marnie Overton do three separate projects in our home. They installed hardwood flooring in three bedrooms and our living/dining area. They remodeled our master bath with several innovative approaches and helped update our kitchen. They listened to our ideas and gave us helpful suggestions that made the finished product better than we hoped. Their work is of exceptional quality with attention to detail. Their crew is professional, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. When they begin a project, they complete carefully and efficiently. They would be our first choice for any future renovation.

I called with an emergency request as my cats were trapped in the wall. They came quickly and rescued them. I am very grateful.

Quality, professional and fast!!! Couldn’t have done a better job. Thanks Derek, Marnie and the crew. Give them a call. You will not be disappointed.

It’s been a year and five months since our home was renovated and I still walk out every morning and think “worth every cent”. Derek’s attention to detail combined with the skill of his staff is top tier. Marnie’s taste is cutting edge and amazingly helpful when it comes to making final decisions. If you’ve talked to me about home renovation, you’ve probably already heard Overton Renovations from our conversations. I’m always happy with their work.

After purchasing our home about a year ago, we were ready to start changing some of the interior colours in an assortment of rooms. While talking to a neighbour/ friend she recommended Derek and his team to take the best care of our painting needs. She had just had paint work done with them and was extremely satisfied with their workmanship. I was able to secure a visit and quote within the same week. Derek has an incredible eye for details and was able to point out some bends and creases in the walls and corners that I never paid attention to. He explained that these items were fixed as part of their services. Since we were satisfied with the quote amount (very reasonable), we went ahead and booked them in. Within about a week, they were ready and starting to paint!! They started by carefully covering all the floors, staircases and banisters with paint sheets. After the first day, I realized I hated the colour. Even after testing in each room, over days and nights..it just wasn’t right. It was incredibly upsetting for me to think I would have to live with this terrible colour. I called Derek the next day, and after reassuring me, he came to help choose an alternate colour and this time we got it right. Overton Renovations saved the day!(Just a suggestion, instead of only test painting a small spot, do as much as you can along a wall. It really can show differently) The crew quickly refocused their efforts and continued the work. It only took them a few hours more with the changed colour. Each day that they were working, they did a full take down of all the protective coverings, clean up of the rooms and floors! That extra step really makes them stand out from the rest. If you are looking for a top notch professional, detail oriented, well priced, attentive company that goes above and beyond-look no further. Highly recommend!

The Overton’s and there crew went above and beyond with my finished basement. Compliments from everyone that comes over. I’ll definitely use them again!

We used this company to refinish our basement and it turned out stunning!! The owners took their time to understand our style and vision; they executed this project even better than what we could have imagined. Their attention to detail is incredible from start to finish. They took us through the entire process, and handled any unforeseen hiccups that came along the way seamlessly. Their crew was attentive and courteous to both my husband and I. We absolutely love the job they did and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs any renovations. They were key to what we needed to finish making our house into a home.
