My new favorite wine shop in LA after frequenting several. Nicole and her staff are wonderful. Her deep understanding of all types of wine and relationships she built as a sommelier really shows in the wide selection and fantastic quality of the bottles she sells. I have bought 7 bottles for various occasions - ranging from $20-70+ and have loved every one I’ve walked out with. The quality for the price you pay (especially the more premium wines) is unbeatable. Cannot recommend enough.

A true gem. One of my favorite wine shops in all of LA and reminds me of the small curated shops in NYC. Friendly owner (plus a cutie pie dog) and an excellent rotating wine selection. Prices are fair and the selection is full of fun offbeat delicious wines. Really lovely spot

I LOVE this little shop! I would way rather spend my money here with someone who is obviously passionate about wine. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, and each time I go in, I never leave without yet another nugget of knowledge about the wine I just bought.<br>She has never suggested a wine that I haven’t loved.<br>I’m so happy I stumbled upon this fabulous wine store.<br>All her wines are affordable, interesting and oh so good.

Stopped by yesterday to buy a couple things and I’m not sure if I was interacting with the owner or just a sales associate, but either way - whoever it was, evidentially needs a lesson on tact and manners. She asked, “how far along are you?”to which I replied, “what?” (Because that’s how astonished I was that someone - especially another woman - would have the audacity to ask). It’s common knowledge not to assume or ask people if they are pregnant. It just is. It’s also very obvious “woman code”. She tried to redeem herself shortly after but I was still in shock so it didn’t make a difference. I felt a pretentious energy during the whole experience so I’m not sure if this interaction was intentional or not, but in the depths of postpartum and already struggling with my body it ruined my day. I told her I gave birth 10 weeks ago and I sure hope this experience allowed her to feel a bit of shame and embarrassment for her careless comments. If you’re representing a local small business, it’s key to know how to appropriately interact with customers. Perhaps some training could be a start to this since not all people have the self awareness and skills.

A locally owned boutique wine store with knowledgeable and passionate staff. Nicole Lalagüe, Owner and Head Sommelier, is not only a smart business person and knows her stuff, she’s a good person who believes in giving back to her community.
