Leah has been grooming my dog for over a year. He’s quite anxious but they treat him with lots of love! He’s always calm when he leaves, and doesn’t dread going to the groomer like he did at other establishments.

I'd like to be able to review but it's nearly impossible to make an appointment. I just waited 15 minutes for the video call and no one turned up. I also file out the form to make an appointment and never heard back. I guess they must be good if people are willing to jump through so many hoops just to get an appointment but I'll never know.

I’ve hesitated posting this review only because I don’t want the appointments to book too quickly, but Patrick’s Pet Care has been an absolute lifesaver for myself and my anxious shihpoo, Sydney, this year.
Syd is, on her best day, an anxious girlie. Her list of dislikes is much longer than her list of likes and grooming is, historically, a challenge. We came to Patrick’s this summer on the recommendation of her behaviorist. She lasted an hour on her first appointment and didn’t even leave the crate, but we pivoted to the husbandry division of Patrick’s (led by Melissa) and could not be more thrilled.
Melissa is a dog whisperer. She takes on the challenging cases and works at the dog’s pace to progress. We went to an appointment weekly and brought our favorite treats (and ball!). After a few weeks, Syd was racing in to play (and get bathed/groomed/nails clipped), leaving me in the dust (I’m okay!). It was an investment to get to this point, but I highly recommend it!
We now go to Patrick’s every 3-4 weeks for baths or grooming. Melissa has been fantastic about understanding Syd’s needs but also acclimating her to new people and surroundings. Moreover, the entire staff has been so thoughtful about Syd’s quirks. I could not ask for a better experience!

I have to give five stars for the excellent customer service and compassion shown to my dog alone—the amazing haircut is a bonus! While pricey, I do think you get what you pay for, and I liked knowing my dog wasn’t forced into things he was afraid of. He was given lots of love and treats and left a happy boy! Mea was amazing and is a talented groomer, not to mention very personable and kind. They have all their information and policies posted in multiple places so you know exactly what’s expected and what you can expect in return. We will definitely be back for his big haircuts in the future!
