Everybody in this business seems to knock on your door in the summer and I have learned to say no to all of them. This time I went looking myself and got a few quotes properly. PaveTheWay Sealcoating & Paving Company came out, measured, and set out what they were actually going to do. Nobody else bothered with that part. The written quote listed the prep, the crack filling and the coats separately so the money was fully accounted for. When the day came they arrived as promised and worked through. The driveway looks black and even and the edges are sharp. A winter has gone by and it still looks the way it did. I will have them back when it needs doing again.
Price assessment: Great price

the back half of our driveway was cracking bad and weeds were coming up through it, looked terrible and honestly was getting dangerous to walk on. got a few quotes and PaveTheWay was fair and didnt try to sell me a full teardown like another company did. the estimator explained they could patch the bad sections and seal the rest and it would hold. found them while looking around Rolling Meadows for someone local. crew came out and got to work, filled all the cracks, dug out the weeds and patched those spots then put a solid coat over everything. water runs off proper now and the surface is smooth again. took them about a day and a half total. its been raining since and no new cracks or pooling. the whole thing looks like a new driveway without paying for a new driveway. glad i didnt listen to the guys trying to rip the whole thing out

asked around for someone to redo our parking area at the shop and these guys had good reviews so went with them. they showed up on time and knocked it out quick. the sealcoat looks clean and they striped the lines nice and even which the old ones were all faded. price was reasonable for the size of the lot. one of the workers talked me through what they did before they left. no complaints so far, holding up good

The condition of our driveway had been getting worse over time, with cracks spreading and drainage issues becoming more noticeable. We were worried the whole thing was going to need to be torn out. Called PaveTheWay to take a look and the estimator was straight with us about what actually needed doing versus what could wait. He said the base was still solid so a full replacement wasn't necessary, just crack filling and a proper sealcoat plus patching that low spot. That saved us a lot of money right there. When the crew came they filled everything, fixed the sunken area so water drains off now, and put down a nice even coat over the whole thing. The difference is real, no more standing water and the surface feels smooth instead of gritty and crumbling. They worked steady and had it wrapped up in a day. Been a few weeks and everything is holding up fine through the rain we've had. Good to find someone who doesn't try to upsell you into a job you don't need.

Two of our neighbors used them for driveway sealcoating, and their driveways looked so good we couldn't resist. Now all three of us have matching, freshly sealed driveways-and zero regrets.

Recently used a nearby company for driveway sealcoating. They were efficient, thorough, and their attention to detail has significantly improved the look and durability of my driveway
