My review from last week has vanished. I wanted to come back and respond to Paw City’s response. My dogs groom was unacceptable and there groomer didn’t spend near enough time with him. The groom was not what I had asked for. I even suggested that I could take him somewhere else if they weren’t up to it. My dogs is half sheepdog and mats easily. We discussed his abdomen would need to be shaved. I had brushed through his topside easily everyday prior to his visit with no problem. There receptionist called mid groom but never mentioned that all his hair but his head and tail would be shaved. She irritated me because I had already mentioned the mats on his abdomen with the groomer. She never mentioned that his back would be shaved. Also, he looked ridiculous because his head and tail were barely touched. His whiskers were actually dirty. I’ve asked for a refund with no response. They spent less than 2 1/2 hours on him which is way less time than any groomer has ever spent on my dog and have charged just as much or more. Yes, I was upset and still am actually! I will not be returning… as I commented when I left with him. He has been very clingy since the visit; which is most upsetting to me. 2nd RESPONSE! Their review isn’t true! I have responded by email twice! The groom was discussed both before the groom with the groomer and during with the receptionist; not the groomer. And when discussed I mentioned that I could take him elsewhere if they didn’t want to do it. Yes, I’m still unhappy with the groom he received and have asked for a reimbursement which they have outright refused! I have now trimmed his ears, whiskers and tail myself! They should have spent much more time with him! And if he had any mats on his exterior they could have been brushed out easily and humanly with the right products as I do. I suggest there staff steady up on grooming of sheepdogs! I hope this review isn’t removed….. I’ve corrected my grammar in a couple places….

Paw City Pet Care does a great job with our Golden Retrievers. They look wonderful after a visit & clearly enjoy being with the groomers. Excellent service!

I absolutely love the care and service Ace and I receive! Ace tends to be scared and can’t stand his feet touched let alone his nails trimmed. However Susie has such a way with animals- he goes to her with no problem. He looks so darn cute when he’s done (wish I had a before picture of his long hair and grinch feet). Thank you Susie!

Trimming my cat’s nails is not a challenge for the faint of heart! After trying myself several times, and receiving many hisses and scratches, it’s worth any time and money I spend having someone at Paw City do it! My cat is calm and happy and so am I!
