My lady and I came to Peasants Feast for lunch with some friends and we were so impressed with the quality of food. The staff was friendly and professional and the pastrami smoked salmon was so flavorful. We can't wait to go back to try more!
Cute restaurant that really focuses on seasonal dishes. They had mushroom tacos but none of the sauces are fully vegan. Was delicious though.

Came in for lunch and ordered a few things. For starter we had the pork belly bacon, which was amazing! For mains we had the special grilled cheese, the pastrami salmon sandwich, and the hot chicken sandwich. The hot chicken sandwich, like another reviewer mentioned, was probably the best hot chicken sandwich I've ever had! The special grilled cheese was great! The pastrami salmon sandwich was really good but just in case you're thinking about it, there's no pastrami on it, it's more like how the salmon is cut. It's more of a lox sandwich which the server mentioned when we ordered it. All in all this place is deserving of the Michelin rating! I would come back here!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing such a lovely review! It's always our goal to make every visit memorable, whether you're a local or visiting Solvang for the day. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to FEASTING with you again soon!
peasants FEAST is one of the more interesting places to eat in Solvang if you want something modern and creative instead of traditional Danish food. The restaurant has a casual but stylish atmosphere, with a menu that focuses on fresh ingredients and comfort food with a more upscale twist. The Solvang hot chicken sandwich is one of the standout items. It has a good balance of crispy chicken, heat, and flavor without being overly heavy. The sandwiches, seasonal salads, and other dishes are nicely prepared, and the menu feels more thoughtful than what you would expect from a typical casual lunch spot. Service is friendly, and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere that works well for lunch or an easy dinner. Prices are a little higher than a basic café, but the quality and creativity of the food make it feel worthwhile. A great choice if you want something fresh, flavorful, and a little different while visiting Solvang.

Came to town looking for a good late lunch and early dinner, and glad we chose this restaurant. Although it was a Saturday, the wait wasn't long and we sat inside (they also have cute patio seating). The decor of the restaurant is relaxing with live plants hanging and planters all around. The decor is cool which feels bohemian, clean and interesting. The waitress was quick and very nice. The menu has something for everyone with sandwiches, a burger, and tacos and a couple of other fun items. I had the burger which was very flavorful with seeded brioche bun, the sauce was so unique, mustardy-tangy, with pickles and onion. It packed a yummy punch and was delicious. Our family shared the Caesar salad which was fresh, with loads of Parmesan cheese and lemon zest. It was refreshing and tasty. My husband had the carnitas tacos and loved them. My son and daughter had grilled cheese and tomato soup and were happy with their choices. The crispy potatos were in fact crispy and not oily. The sauce they served them with was great and a perfect match for them. This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for on a Saturday quick getaway for a nice meal. I highly recommend due to the cute restaurant decor and atmosphere, as well as good service and delightful food. I would like to come back and try other items, everything looks great.
