Thank you Kristi! I really enjoyed Maggie and look forward to taking care of her again

Customers describe services including in-home dog boarding, day-sitting, and cat care, frequently highlighting the clean, pet-friendly environment and reasonable pricing. Recurring themes emphasize daily video and photo updates that provide peace of mind, along with the sitter's punctuality and ability to accommodate specific animal needs. One low-star review cites a lack of professionalism and reliability during an international trip, contrasting with the generally positive feedback regarding communication and care.

My dog was taken care of like she lived at their house and I couldn't be more thankful!
Thank you Kristi! I really enjoyed Maggie and look forward to taking care of her again
Alicia took care of our labradoodle for 11 nights. She sent videos of him having a great time with other dogs and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing he was being taken care of and having a great time too!
Thank you Cherise! He truly had such a good time and I enjoyed taking care of him. He is such a good boy!
Bailey lives going to Alicia’s for her doggie vacay while her people go away!
Thank you, Christine! She sure does have a good time with all her Doggie friends
Alicia has been day-sitting for my Aussie (Maple) and does an amazing job. The videos during the day really help to know she’s been looked after too. Highly recommended.
Thank you Keith, Maple is a very sweet doggie 🩷
Alicia is exceptional! Our dog is always so well cared for by her. We love the communication she provides whether it’s a photo, video, or a phone call. It’s such a comfort while we are away to know that our pup is in such caring hands.
Thank you Allison! I love your Hurley boy!
Alicia is the best pet sitter you will EVER find! Our Charlie was treated like he was her own pet.We had never left him before, and we were gone for 2 weeks. She and her husband who also loves dogs made him feel right at home. She keeps you informed everyday with video and text that made me feel so good about Charlie being with her.lt was an excellent experience for him and l would leave him again with no worries! She understands and gets to know all of her dogs personalities and needs.lts like a second home for him 💗 Exercise, what ever special food or needs are all included and most of all LOVE! I would give her 100 stars! She's amazing and truly loves caring for dogs!
Beth Leavitt Snohomish Wa
Thank you Beth,
Charlie is truly a very sweet dog and I loved seeing him grow from shy when he first arrived to feeling right at home and socializing with other dogs. I look forward to having him again. ❤️
We have been using Alicia’s pet service for many years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs. To say she goes above and beyond for my fur babies is an understatement! She has a very nice clean house and a beautiful yard for the dogs to run and play. They both absolutely love going to stay with her, and she even accommodates my older/ arthritic dog by sometimes keeping her separate from the younger more energetic dogs. I have referred another friend who has a labradoodle and Great Dane (giant breeds can be a handful), and she also won’t take her dogs anywhere else! The dogs stay inside her lovely home and she is constantly sending pictures of them to show how well take care of they are! When they come home, they are nice and tired from all of the fun they had! Trust me when I say she is the absolute best pet sitter we have ever had!
Thank you Tara, I have always enjoyed taking care of your doggies!!! They are always so well behaved and really enjoy their stay with me! I look forward to the next time
Review of Alicia’s pet sitter. Dog Boarding in Snohomish

I would not recommend Alicia’s pet sitter Dog Boarding based on my experience.

Our pets are like family, and when we leave them in someone’s care—especially while traveling internationally—we expect professionalism, reliability, and commitment.

Before our two-week trip abroad, I did everything possible to ensure my dog would be successful. We scheduled a meet-and-greet, I provided detailed written instructions about her routine and behavior, and I even adjusted our drop-off time to accommodate Alicia schedule. Before dropping my dog off, I took my dog on a long walk to help her settle in.

I was completely transparent about my dog needs. I explained that she doesn’t like being petted from behind her head, that she should be fed separately because she can be protective of her food due to being a former stray, and that she doesn’t do well when multiple dogs crowd around her. In those situations, she may try to herd them or nip to create space. Otherwise, she's is a sweet, affectionate, well-behaved dog.

Shortly after I dropped my dog off, Alicia sent me photos and videos showing my dog was calmly interacting with the other dogs. Maggie looked relaxed, comfortable, and was settling in well, which gave me confidence that everything was going smoothly.

Then, only a couple of days into our vacation, while we were overseas, Alicia called and told us she no longer wanted to care of our dog and expected us to pick her up. That was impossible because we were out of the country. When I asked what had happened, she said Maggie had been growling at the other dogs. I asked if the other dogs had been surrounding her and her response was, “I think it was her, but I’m not sure if it was her growling. I don’t know, but I don’t want to take care of her.”

That left us scrambling from another country to find emergency care for our dog. Thankfully, by the grace of God, a friend was available to take her, even though she had never cared for her before. Our friend later told us that she did not encounter any issues at all. Had our friend not been available, we would have been in an incredibly difficult situation.

When one accepts responsibility for someone’s pet during an international vacation is a serious commitment. Ending that commitment a couple of days into the stay created an enormous amount of unnecessary stress and could have left our dog without care.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Pet Sitting by Alicia’s Dog Boarding. If you’re looking for dependable boarding while you’re away, especially on an extended trip, I would encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the level of reliability you want for your pet. Wanted to add some more to the comment below of the owners response to my review.

It's unfortunate that she cannot be honest about what happened again extremely would highly not recommend her specially, after her response to this review, the fact that she is denying what she did is even more unprofessional. Do not use her she is not honest!!!
It saddens me to read a review like this, and I would like to clarify a few points for anyone reading it.

The safety and well-being of every dog in my care is always my highest priority. Maggie initially appeared to settle in well, but over the following days her behavior changed. She attempted to lunge at three separate dogs without provocation, which raised serious concerns about the safety of both Maggie and the other dogs in my care.

At no point did I tell you that I “no longer wanted to care” for Maggie or demand that you pick her up. I explained that I had growing safety concerns and asked whether you could arrange alternative care if possible. My goal was to address the situation responsibly before any dog was injured.

I understand that arranging alternate care while traveling internationally was difficult. However, when a dog’s behavior changes in a group boarding environment, I believe it is my responsibility to communicate those concerns promptly rather than continue a situation that could result in harm.

I’m glad Maggie settled in well with your friend. Every environment is different, and a home with few or no other dogs can be very different from a group boarding setting. Many dogs who do well one on one may not be comfortable in a multi-dog environment.

Providing a safe environment for every dog in my care will always remain my top priority, and I will continue making decisions based on what I believe is in the best interest of all the dogs entrusted to me.
Our babies were well taken care of.
Thank you 🙏🏻
My husband and I were recommended Alicia from a family friend. We have a 7 year old Dutch shepherd that is a very active dog and needs lots of exercise. He spent a week with Alicia while we were on vacation and it was amazing. We received video and photo updates everyday. It made our vacation more enjoyable knowing he was also having a good time. He got lots of exercise playing with other dogs, walking and playing ball. I appreciated Alicia really taking the time to get to know my dog and his regular habits during his stay. He really settled in well with her family. We felt like our pup got to enjoy a vacation while we did!
Thank you so much, my husband, son and I look forward to having Ralphie again!!! Such a good boy!!!!
