Customers frequently praise Pet Strands Grooming for friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and successful grooming results for both dogs and cats. Many appreciate the easy booking process and the team's ability to handle anxious or difficult pets. However, some reviewers note that service duration estimates are inconsistent, with appointments sometimes taking significantly longer than expected. A few low-star reviews also mention communication issues and dissatisfaction with billing practices when staff could not complete requested services.

The very short lady that received my pet had an attitude and struggled to communicate. The "cat groomer" did not secure my cat properly and he bit while getting his backside trimmed. I feel awful about him biting her and unfortunately can't recommend this place.
Took in my dog with 20min notice on a Sunday to get nails filed for my mixed Yorkie. They have walk-ins starting at 10am, but I think its only for nails. Surprisingly finding a dog groomer is difficult in OC, but looks like I just found a new spot
My Callie girl is a 14 year old senior cat. I've never really taken her to be groomed before. She's also never really had any reasons to go to the vet besides being spayed. She ended up having fleas. I was apprehensive to take her to the groomers, because i've read that it could be alot of chaos for them. I called for an appointment and they were able to see her same-day. That worked out great, because I was able to strip our bed and wash everything in hot water while she was away. They took extra care of her after I stated my concerns about it being loud or scary. They even said that it's common practice for them to separate the cats and dogs and keep the senior cats in a calmer environment towards the end of the day when there are less clients. The dryer is very quiet. When I came to pick her up, she looked very calm while sitting in the dryer. Imagine a crate that's enclosed and has a warm temperature and blowing air. She didn't seem afraid or even skittish at all. She smells great too! If you're concerned about taking your senior cat, this is the place!
Great service and friendly staff. Their availability is good. The only downside is they take too long for services., 4-5hrs.
I recently took my dog, Nala, to pet Strands grooming and I’m beyond pleased with their work! The staff was friendly, gentle, and clearly cared about her comfort. Nala came home looking beautiful, smelling fresh, and so happy. The grooming was done exactly as I requested, and they even added some sweet little touches that showed attention to detail. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled grooming service!
The groomers at Pet Strands did a fabulous job! They did exactly what I asked for and handled my baby with care. I’m happy to have found a new go-to place!
First time here Ava very happy with both the service and prices. Will definitely be back.
Heather and her team are incredible with taking care of their clients and pets. Supporting a small business who is thoughtful and skilled at their service, so give Pet Strands a chance at earning your business. We were referred by a neighbor and have stayed with Heidi for the last 5 years without any second thought to see if any place could be better for Brooklyn, my dog.
Great service and easy check in. They did an amazing jobs of nails clippings and bath for dog. Also staff are very friendly.
