Pet Suite Retreat-Troy

RIP Molly

They know my dog's name when they see him, which is not often. And it's because they love him, not because he's a problem for them! You can't get that just anywhere, so they get my repeat business.

Recently, my mother was hospitalized and needed time to recover in a skilled nursing facility. She boarded her dog, Niko, at a place in Troy close to her home. Niko has a history of seizures, and he had a small episode while he was there. The facility called to say they were not comfortable keeping him and that she needed to find alternate arrangements. My mother was already overwhelmed with her own health issues, and the added stress of finding a safe place for Niko was heartbreaking. I immediately called PSR, and they were just as incredible as I remembered. I spoke with Lace—who also worked at the Inkster location and even remembered my long‑lost baby Bella. She went out of her way to pick up Niko herself and made sure he had a safe, secure, loving place to stay. My gratitude for PSR runs deeper than words. They have always been the place I call “home” for my babies, and they proved once again why. “Thank you” will never feel like enough.

We truly appreciate how often they let the dogs out to the yard to play with other dogs friends. Excellent dog care and communication

Staff were very friendly.

Please do a tour before you board, especially your cats. I boarded my two cats for the first time while I was on vacation, and they had a private room. The room is so sad: cobwebs in the corners, the wallpaper peeling off by the window that the cats can easily get to, the floor under the litter box was torn out, and they only had one tiny little cat tree. They also only send 3 photos every day, and nobody is there overnight. I really wanted to give this place a chance.

We're glad we went with them to board our bunnies for a long weekend, even after a massive hesitation. The staff seemed to love them too! It did take us a while to decide where to board our 2 bunnies as they're 'unconventional' pets. My wife found this place (first come first serve!) and we're glad to have chosen them.

This is our Riley's second home. We love the team and even though it breaks our heart to drop her off, we know she is always in good hands.

My dog loves it here and is always taken care of. She seems to like coming here more than coming home sometimes, so someone is probably spoiling her. This is my go to for holidays and vacations and sometimes a little doggie daycare

nice to be able to drop off night before 1st day charge . reasonable rates clean fresh smelling facility no issues with dog stressed out after his 7 day stay
