Google reviewers rate Pete's Lawn Maintenance highly, citing reliable lawn care, landscaping, and firewood delivery services. Customers frequently mention punctual arrivals, clear communication, and reasonable pricing for tasks like mowing, seasonal cleanups, and vegetation removal. The business serves the Rutherford area with consistent results, though one low-star review noted that firewood did not burn as expected despite being labeled as seasoned.

Bought firewood from Pete this season because mine didn’t have a chance to dry in time. I may not bother going back to using my own. Hardwood that burned clean and hot, with no sign of moisture - so easy to light. Awesome service. Very friendly and truly professional. Definitely recommend
Great service been doing my lawn for years and has always kept it nice and green.
I've been using Pete's Lawn Maintenance since I moved to Rutherford. Pete has been there for my lawn and my snow removal. I highly recommend Pete if you are in the Rutherford area.
We were referred to the company through Rutherford Recommends. Great service, very reliable, and the pricing is reasonable. Our lawn looks fantastic every time. Highly recommend.
Pete was my lawn service guy for a decade. He did bi weekly lawn cutting, seasonal trimming of my hedges, weeding and mulching, leaf blowing as well as many other lawn services. For example, every so often we would have a big storm and large tree branches would come down and he would remove them. He is very reasonable and does great work. He is the guy I would always recommend if anyone asked. I also had the best lawn on my street. I moved so I no longer needed his service. I wish I could have brought him with me to my new location. AAA+++
Peter and his team did a great job trimming the shrubs and cutting the grass. Peter responded quickly and kept me abreast of time they were coming. Men were Professional. Would have them again.
Pete and his crew did an amazing clean-up on my property. Removed all the shrubs and weeds and spayed to prevent the weeds from growing back. I am very happy with the price and work, and I highly recommend their services.
I first called Pete a few years ago in Rutherford for my landscaping Fall Clean Up. I was really impressed by the work they did. He is a local father in my town and runs a great service. Very customer friendly.
If the Gods of lawn care got together with the landscaping Hall of Fame…. They still would not be able to create a better lawn maintenance man than Pete and his crew. I’ve dealt with many landscapers in my day but 12 years ago I found Pete and never had to search for another lawn care team again. Professional and well-versed, always ready to handle any job and, always for the right price. Here’s the best thing I can say, Pete is does exceptional work and is honest. That’s a rare combination. Quick Anecdote; This year Pete actively helped me fix my lawnmower(left by the previous owner in my new home) so I can do most of my lawn work on my own! That should tell you all you need to know about what you’re getting when you make the correct and easy decision to hire Pete.
For over 10 years, Pete has worked on my Rutherford rental property. He does a beautiful job creating and maintaining the landscaping throughout the seasons. His snow removal service is also very dependable.
