My husband and I are so glad that we booked a smash cake photo session with Petite Studios for our son’s first birthday. Angelica was so welcoming and took the time to make sure our son was comfortable and acclimated before she started taking pictures. We had so much fun during our session and Angelica was an absolute joy to work with. Additionally, she was kind enough to send us two photos early so that we could use them for our son’s birthday party. There is no doubt in our minds that we will book more sessions in the future.

Petite Studios is truly a 5-star photography service from beginning to end. Angelica is an absolute delight to work with, and genuinely one of the most professional photographers we have come across! From our initial phone call discussing logistics/vision to the actual photo shoot and delivering proofs - Angelica has been extremely warm, reliable, and consistent. The actual newborn photo shoot far exceeded our expectations. Angelica welcomed our newborn and entire family into her beautiful studio with open arms, and had every background perfectly organized so that the entire session would flow smoothly. We really appreciated this. She is a phenomenally talented photographer who is meticulous and pays attention to every detail. She did not rush a single photo -- all the while making sure that our newborn was comfortable and happy. She has a very gentle touch with newborns and knows how to put everyone in the room at ease. She worked non-stop for hours while also being very jovial with all of us. The cherry on top is that she is a very compassionate person who clearly loves what she does. Every single photo she took came out gorgeous (it's hard to pick only a few pictures) and we could not recommend Petite Studios more. I HIGHLY recommend getting your baby photography done with Angelica, especially if you are located in the Chicago suburbs. I cannot recommend Petite Studios enough! She has honestly been the best photographer I've ever worked with. From the very beginning, she was so kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. She made the whole process completely stress free.
She did such an amazing job putting together my daughter's cake smash setup, and the little bathtub session at the end turned out absolutely adorable! She was amazing with my kids, took her time, and made sure everything looked just right without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell she truly cares about giving her clients the best experience possible. She even made sure I had a few edited photos before my daughter's birthday party, which meant so much to me. She really went above and beyond in every way.
I'm so happy with our photos and the overall experience. I truly couldn't be happier and would not hesitate to use her again in the future!

Angelica was absolutely wonderful to work with for our daughter’s newborn photoshoot. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized. Each setup was ready, and the studio itself was clean, calm, and very welcoming.
She was incredibly professional and patient, always making sure our baby was comfortable and settled before taking any photos. As new parents, we especially appreciated how much attention she paid to hygiene while handling our newborn.
The entire session flowed smoothly as she gently moved our baby from one setup to another, capturing a variety of beautiful shots. She even recorded videos at each station and shared them with us before we left the studio, which was such a thoughtful touch. It meant we could already share those special moments with our loved ones right away.
She was also very friendly, and we really enjoyed our time there. Both the unedited and final edited photos were delivered on time, and they turned out absolutely amazing. The decorations and props she used were beautiful and added so much to the photos.
We couldn’t be happier with the experience and highly recommend her!

When it comes to photo sessions with kids, I always look for photographers who are only dedicated to kids and babies photo session. Why? I have had the pleasure of working with Angelica at Petite Studios twice now. Once for my daughter and just recently for my son. We have done the 1 year milestone session with her for both. Both times she exceeded our expectations!!!! Angelica is truly AMAZING at what she does! She takes the time to get the kiddos comfortable with her before getting started which helps so much!
