Best cakes in LA

Great service delicious cake
Small and personal.
I only wish they had a Store in Palm Springs I know they would get so much busines. I grew up with these cakes and I wish I could buy a cake more often but LA is so far.
Get down to Chinatown for 88-year-old bakery tradition of strawberry and whipped cream cake. Also, almond cookies are lovely and they have these things called butterflies, which are crispy fried and dipped in like honey or corn syrup. And they're just delicious!
