10 out of 10 experience for my old guy. Was able to get a last minute appointment, they treated him with light sedation The tech and the doctor are so kind and caring. The price was extremely fair. The office is cleaner than some human doctors offices tbh. Thank you so much again

One of the best veterinary care facilities I have ever visited. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. And the doctor is very caring about your pet and knowledgeable on treatments and other remedies if they are sick. Our sweet beagle Lady had an acute injury on. Friday evening. They were so kind and helpful. Our doctor and nurse were gentle with both our Lady but also with us! We will now be Piedmont Pets patients!! Thank you so much!

I asked the staff if they could have the doc call me back after a course of antibiotics given did not help and the staff insisted on having me come back for another consultation where I would have to pay another $90 after the first visit cost me over $600. I understood that the doctor was busy but after 3 days I never got a call, they just keep texting me telling me to schedule another visit. Also at the first appointment when they did an Xray of my dogs lungs the vet had to send the x-rays to be reviewed by a specialist, that cost about an extra $100 to the visit; before having the x-rays confirmed for bronchitis, the vet told me that it could be cancer or bronchitis, it just increased my worries and caused me extra stress thinking my pup had cancer. Overall very disappointed in the lack of care and the dismissal of my complaints by the office manager. I would not recommend going here. (Just to be clear I only wanted to ask the doctor if a they would be able to give injections if i brought her for another appointment, the staff never even asked me what I wanted to ask the doctor simply kept stating that I needed another visit, so please be honest in your reply, its clear that you're practice is only interested in making money and not in helping patients get good care.)

As we discussed with you directly, and as we explained in a detailed email, when a patient does not improve after a course of treatment, a recheck examination is medically necessary so the veterinarian can reassess the patient and determine the appropriate next steps. A veterinarian cannot safely make changes to a treatment plan or prescribe additional medication without evaluating the patient. We also understand your concern regarding the chest radiographs. The radiographs were submitted to a specialist for review to provide an additional level of expertise and help our veterinarian determine the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Discussing possible causes, including more serious conditions, is part of appropriately informing owners about potential diagnoses and does not mean that a serious condition was diagnosed. We are sorry that you felt your concerns were dismissed. We did speak with you directly and followed up with a detailed email addressing your concerns and explaining the medical reasoning behind our recommendations. We also offered to provide your pet's medical records to another veterinary hospital if you felt another practice would be a better fit for your needs. Our priority remains providing appropriate medical care for our patients while communicating openly with their owners.
