⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Luckiest Find for Our New Orleans Wedding! This is a long one, so I apologize...No less words could articulate my gratitude!!! If I could give PK Events more than five stars, I absolutely would. Honestly, I’m not sure five stars adequately covers the level of magic this team created for us. My husband and I live in Montana and decided to have a smaller destination wedding in New Orleans, which was equal parts dreamy and terrifying. Planning a wedding from across the country can feel like trying to assemble a puzzle when you don’t even have the picture on the box. Im not great with puzzles as it is lol. Then we found PK Events, and suddenly everything fell into place. Finding this local New Orleans team was truly the luckiest find of our entire wedding planning experience. I should probably give you some important background about the bride: I am an indecisive, procrastinating person by nature. Give me 3 options and I will somehow need to “sleep on it” for three weeks. Or avoid making a decision at all. 😂 If PK Events hadn't been there to help guide and organize me, I’m fairly certain I would have had a full-blown mental breakdown somewhere between choosing flowers and figuring out the timeline. Enter Kristen and Claire. (My Fairy Godplanners.) From the very beginning, they felt less like wedding planners and more like two long-lost family friends who had somehow been assigned to make our wedding fantasy come true. They were warm, fun, incredibly responsive, patient with all of my indecisiveness, and somehow always managed to make me feel like everything was completely under control. They helped coordinate communication with our venue and vendors, kept all the moving pieces moving, answered questions, handled details I didn't even know needed handling, and ultimately brought my whimsical wedding to life. And then there was the wedding day… I had to put an almost comical amount of trust in them because we were planning everything from Montana. I had no idea exactly what our venue setup was going to look like. I didn't know what the flowers would look like. I didn't even see our cake until the wedding day. And somehow… EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Not just “good.” Not just “close enough.” PERFECT. Every member of the PK Events team absolutely nailed my vision. They took all the little details I had imagined and brought them to life in a way that was even more fabulous l than I could have pictured. I highly recommend letting the pros have some creative free reign! No micro management needed. Every person on the team is an ARTIST. Can we talk about the value?! We never could have had the incredible number of vendors and services included in our package for anything close to that price back home in Montana. They gave us the opportunity to have a truly spectacular, unique wedding without feeling like we had to choose between our dream wedding and our bank account. But what I’m most grateful for is what they gave us that you simply can't put a price on: PEACE OF MIND. We got to soak in magic of our favorite city, celebrate with the people we love with fantastic food (and many hurricane cocktails), laugh, dance, and actually experience our wedding instead of managing it. Kristen, Claire, and the entire PK Events team — thank you for taking a wedding that existed mostly in my ADD head and turning it into something even more wonderful than I imagined. We came all the way from Montana, put our trust in a New Orleans team we had just found, and somehow ended up feeling like we had our best friends behind the scenes making everything happen. And Kristen and Claire, I hope you understand that by being so sensational, you have created a problem for yourselves: I fully intend to force you to hang out with me every single time we come back to New Orleans.😂 You’re not getting rid of me that easily. If you are planning a wedding in New Orleans, especially a destination wedding, STOP LOOKING. Hire PK Events. Your future, less-stressed, happily-married self will thank you.

I can’t recommend PK Events enough! Kristen, Claire, and the team are truly the best and so talented. They listened to what mattered most for our wedding and brought our vision to life. We hired them for their All-Inclusive Wedding Package and have zero regrets. From my florals and decor to the violinist to the DJ, PK Events has the best connections in New Orleans. Every question we had, Kristen responded nearly immediately with confidence, thoughtfulness, and calm — everything you need when planning a wedding. I wouldn’t change a single minute or thing about my wedding and so much of that is thanks to Kristen and her team. Also, two hours before my wedding it was raining sideways and we were getting married outdoors. Kristen knew that I wanted my ceremony outside if at all possible. She worked her magic behind the scenes and made sure we were able to be outside. I wish I could relive that day over and over again! If you’re looking for the best planner in the city, look no further! Hire PK Events — you will never regret it. My husband said, “Kristen was the best money we spent.” I couldn’t agree more!

I had a great experience working with Claire and Kristen! They were always very responsive, organized, and helpful. I worked closest with Claire throughout the process, and she went above and beyond to make sure my vision would come to life! I had a wonderful wedding weekend as a result ☺️

I am beyond delighted that we chose PK Wedding and Events New Orleans for my daughter’s New Orleans wedding at Christmas time! Kristen and her team were always accessible during the early stages of our planning for any questions we had in order to make our vision of this wedding day exactly as we hoped for. Being from the North Shore and having the wedding in the French Quarter, there were lots of logistics to be coordinated. Day-of, Kristen met us at the Omni Royal Orleans to help the bride and entire bridal party stay on track for the logistics of the day. At the same time members of her team were at Marché, the reception venue, being sure that things were going smoothly for vendor set up. Her team handled the many items that had to be transported to the St. Louis Cathedral as the bride and bridal party took a beautiful carriage ride to the Cathedral. They had additional items ready after the wedding ceremony for the second-line to Marche’ on the riverfront. At Marche, they helped us transition into a seamless, beautiful, memorable and AMAZINGLY fun reception! Thank you to Kristen, Claire, and Cynthia of PK Events for making this day the most magical day of my life as the Mother-of-the Bride, watching her first daughter marry the love of her life!

Kristen and Claire were fantastic planners/coordinators for our November 2025 wedding! Their calm, positive dispositions set us at ease as they ran everything seamlessly. Before the wedding, they answered plenty of questions and guided me when we had to make a major change to our schedule. Communication between them and our vendors was strong. They were also amazing about checking in with us throughout the day to make sure we didn't need anything! I truly couldn't imagine what the day would have been like without them!

Kristen and Claire made our wedding incredibly painless. They were in constant contact with us, and made sure everything ran smoothly, even when speed bumps arrived. They were constantly reminding us "This is your day, we are here to make sure it goes perfectly," and they did. We are so happy they were there for us during our special weekend. Thank you!
