We couldn't have asked for a better dog and house sitter than Playtime Pet Sitters. They were incredibly kind, caring and attentive to our dog Buddy, and it was such a comfort knowing our furry family member was in such good hands while we were away. They kept us updated, took wonderful care of our home, and treated everything with genuine care and respect. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a clean, well-cared for house. We truly appreciate the thoughtfulness and peace of mind they gave us, and we would absolutely love to have them stay again. We highly recommend them!

Playtime pet sitters is the best pet walking service in Colorado Springs. They are so professional and take amazing care of my dog Millie. They treat her like family and she LOVES them!! Millie has had some medical issues lately and I feel so safe leaving her with all of her dog walkers. They are gentle and caring and make sure she gets plenty of love! I would recommend them to anyone!

I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences with Playtime Petsitters (and specifically Katelyn and Susan). They are so conscientious, extremely professional, and most important - my boys LOVE them❤️ Whether it’s an overnight visit with drop-ins when I’ve been out of town or just quick drop-ins when my dogs need a break, I get wonderful and timely updates with lots of pictures. I trust them completely and am so grateful that we have such a great option in Colorado Springs!

A shout out to the wonderful petsitters, Dora, Rosalind, Anne, Laura, McKenzie and Kerry, who provided loving care to our fur babies (2 cats) while we were on vacation. Their attention to detail in providing care gave my husband and I peace of mind while we were away. In order not to create anxiety and stress for myself and our animals Play time pet sitters provided in-home care, and administered daily medication for one of our cats. They also took in our mail. They do provide a few other services. I would highly recommend PlayTime Pet Sitters and any one of their lovely care givers to watch over your pet(s).

Edit: I have been unable to get my key back from Susan. She admits that it must have been mislabeled and that this is inexcusable. She said that if she could not locate it, she would re-key my home, then proceeded to ghost me. Beware. We have used Playtime Petsitters on four occasions since moving to the Springs. I have over 25 years of experience hiring petsitters and was fortunate to have the same sitter for 12 of those years, so I’m very familiar with what consistent, reliable care looks like. The good: I was impressed with owner Susan’s responsiveness during my initial call. She was friendly, helpful, and walked me through the process. Our meet‑and‑greet was scheduled a couple of weeks out, and the sitter we met was friendly and someone I felt comfortable with. Where things fell short: During our first three‑night trip, I was surprised to see a different person in our home for almost every visit — four sitters total, only one of whom we had met. This was never communicated to us, and the rotating sitters did not seem familiar with our home or our dogs. Additionally, the time between the evening and morning visits was consistently 12–13 hours, which is longer than we were comfortable with (and documented in their portal notes). Our second and third bookings were short and uneventful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was not positive. Our dogs were not walked for the first two days because the assigned sitter reported they were “too sick” to walk them. I’m unsure why someone unable to perform basic duties was sent to our home. When I contacted Susan, she did not recognize my name, address, or dogs, despite having personally cared for them on a previous visit. She did step in to take over the remaining visits, which I appreciated. However, on Sunday — the day before our return — she called to say there had been an accident in the house and that it was “messy.” She preferred to leave it to “solidify” because it would be easier to clean later. I strongly disagreed and directed her to the cleaning supplies. She was argumentative but said she would return to clean it. We arrived home the next day around 2 p.m. to find feces throughout the house, clearly from the prior morning. It was crusted, smelled like a kennel, and had been tracked everywhere by the dogs. This was despite three additional visits after the accident occurred. Since returning home, I have attempted multiple times to reconnect with Susan to discuss what happened. Communication has been minimal, and the responses I have received have been excuses rather than accountability. Bottom line: This is marketed as a premium service, but our experience did not reflect that. Between the lack of communication, rotating sitters, long gaps between visits, and the unacceptable handling of the most recent incident, the service has not been worth the cost, the stress, or the cleanup afterward. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

I so appreciate this team and the way they care for my dogs!! They send a write up after each visit with pictures which is nicely detailed and it’s really appreciated. I think this may be our 3rd/4th time using this team and we will sure continue!! If you’re looking for excellent pet care, look no further!

We contacted playtime pet sitters for our recent vacation to watch our two beagle boys while we were away. We’ve had not so great experiences with kennels in Colorado Springs and saw the excellent reviews for playtime and decided to contact them. They were so thorough when meeting our boys about every aspect of their individual needs as well as watching our home. Everyone at playtime was so professional and so obviously in love with animals that they put our fears to rest right away. The peace of mind we got from their detailed pet updates and pics was priceless! They also spotted a broken sprinkler pipe in our yard and turned off the water which could have led to a disaster. My wife and I are huge fans and will DEFINITELY go to them for our next vacation! Couldn’t recommend them more!!!

PlayTime Pet Sitters is fantastic! Our cat is a rescue and has a very hard time being boarded. We travel frequently and need reliable in-home visits for our cat. We are so thankful for PlayTime. From the beginning when they came over to meet our cat, we've been so impressed with their care for him, their professional approach, and their experience with cats.
