I was Involved in a pedestrian accident. I was really nervous in trying to find an attorney that would take my case. Earlier this year, I met Adam, my attorney, and happened to keep his card just in case I ever needed anything. A couple of weeks later, I was hit from behind by a drunk driver who tried to flee the scene. Thank God I had Adam’s card! In January, the temperatures dropped so low that our home was only 29 degrees, and we were freezing. We had to find a hotel to stay warm. When we were told that the heat at our house had been fixed, we went back to check on it and bought a generator. During that time, my wife became extremely dizzy, and I needed to get her to the emergency room. All the traffic lights along the road were out. In that situation, drivers are supposed to treat the red lights as four-way stops. Unfortunately, the driver who hit us didn’t stop. He drove straight through and plowed into the side of our vehicle where my wife was sitting. EMS took her directly to the emergency room. I decided to call Ponce Law because I had seen them on TV so many times. The familiar face gave me a sense of trust, and he came across as someone who was honest and would do the right thing. I called Ponce Law to handle my wife’s case because I wanted someone who would help us through such a difficult experience. Hannah, our attorney, and Barbi, our paralegal, were wonderful throughout the process. They kept us informed about everything we needed to know and even made communication easier by sending us text messages. They were great communicators, and I never felt like I was missing anything or being left in the dark. I always knew what was going on. Going through an accident like this is stressful enough, especially when you’re worried about your wife’s health. Having a team that communicated clearly, kept us updated, and helped us understand what was happening made a real difference.
