Positive presence is a breath of fresh air!
As a parent of two teenagers who have both had counseling for anxiety and ADHD, I can’t recommend Positive Presence enough. They built on the skills my kids had already learned and, more importantly, helped them understand how to actually use those skills in everyday life.
For my daughter, Positive Presence helped her finish high school with confidence and navigate the transition to college. They helped her set personalized goals, recognize what was holding her back, focus on what she could control, and learn to balance work, fun, and rest.
My daughter absolutely loved her therapist, who saw her not just as a patient, but as a teenager learning how to become an adult. She took the time to understand my daughter’s strengths, interests, and goals and continually reminded her of them.
I especially recommend Positive Presence for teens who have already been through therapy and are tired of hearing the same things over and over. They meet teens where they are, build on what they already know, personalize the approach, and help them develop the skills and confidence to become who they want to be.

As a former student of Positive Presence, I can say without hesitation that my time there changed me in ways I’m still discovering. When I first joined, I was carrying so much doubt and heaviness. Early in 2026, I was going through a severe life change. I was referred to Positive Presence. As I showed up for meetings I felt that I found my spark and a passion that was always there. Very insightful and thoughtful meetings. They still continue to help me to this day.

We had such an amazing experience with Positive Presence! Our son struggled with finding his way in early adulthood. His mentor met him where he was, built a strong rapport and helped rebuild a damaged self image. We saw growth within a few sessions and before 6 months was up, we started to see a light in him we hadn’t seen in awhile. We also spent time with an adult mentor who helped us learn to set and hold boundaries and transition to parenting an adult. We would recommend this program highly!
