We are a family with a small business that practices Dave Ramsey’s financial methods, and found Praxis CPA a number of years ago through Dave’s recommended list. Jason and Shana are amazing. They’ve saved us more money and trouble than we could’ve imagined! A good CPA is not cheap, but worth every penny. We had some terrible experiences in the past, and Praxis has become one of the best business investments we’ve ever made. Our previous CPAs had next to no communication, frequent late filings, and amendments caused by lazy mistakes. Praxis is timely, detail-oriented, friendly, and knows the ins and outs of small businesses. The price was a major issue. Our taxes weren’t complicated at all. My recent college graduate son, had minimal statements and schedules. W2, 1099-int. Price $500. I tried negotiating his. No luck. My taxes equally uncomplicated. Price $1000. Felt like it was a way of saying, we don’t want your business.
Praxis did an absolutely amazing job with our taxes. Completed in minimum time and maximized deductions.
Praxis may do good taxes/CPA work, but they are disrespectful and do not like hard questions being asked. They want you to send them all your stuff; then "trust" they will handle it. When educated members of society ask questions and want to be informed, Jason and his staff (wife) get defensive and give you a blind "no longer representing you letter". Sorry that offends you, but most educated members of society like to respectfully be informed how their tax situation is and have a reasonable right to ask hard questions. Hmmmm...I guess it could be my wife was a client for many years and once they knew a divorce was coming, sides were taken...an I was axed! Go elsewhere to a CPA that has your tax situation and CPA issue in your best interests!

Jason has been the key component in helping me navigate my taxes after the passing of my mother. After her passing, I became trustee of her estate and with that role came many tax issues. I had no idea where to start. Jason thoughtfully and thoroughly helped me navigate through making many tough financial decisions and guided me through this difficult tax season. I will definitely be recommending his services to friends and family.
Jason sat down with me prior to year's end so we could meet face to face & he could understand our situation prior to processing the tax return. He answered any question I had & was great at breaking things down into pieces I could understand. He was very thorough in our summary & the process was (fairly) painless, despite the nature of tax season. We will no longer dread tax time as we feel so much more prepared going into next year. Coming from someone who has used Turbo Tax for years out of convenience, I am beyond happy to have made the move to working with a CPA & wouldn't have it any other way moving forward. Highly recommend!
