Preston Children's Academy

PCA is the best of the best. Truly staffed with the most caring, kind, educated, and dedicated staff from the owner, directors, and teachers. We drove from North Raleigh to Cary for 4 years after moving homes because of the trust we have in PCA and the quality of care and education provided. We researched and toured dozens of centers and still could not find anything that matched PCA. Our two children experienced all levels of care from the infant room through Pre-K and we had the same positive experience across the board. Lead teacher retention is unlike other centers which speaks to how the center is managed. I sobbed many times when we left PCA and I consider the staff our coparents and friends. They’re the best!

Our daughter recently moved on to Kindergarten after over four years at PCA. The teachers and staff are wonderful, and truly care about the welfare of the kids. Didn't even consider switching to a different facility even after moving. Can't recommend them enough!

I can’t say enough positive things about this daycare! My daughter has been attending and absolutely loves the teachers. You can tell each teacher loves what they do and care about each of the kids there. This even shows by the amount of tenure each of the teachers have. Pam and Venus are amazing as well and care about each of their staff so much and children that are attending. The facility is very clean and organized. There are a lot of activities for the kids to participate in while there and they even host parties for their birthdays and events. I am so glad we have our little girl at Preston Children’s Academy and will absolutely have the next one there as well. Thank you to all of the staff, you’re all superstars!!!!!

After touring this facility, we loved PCA. It was a nice clean facility with a great atmosphere. My child was supposed to start with PCA 3/1, got an email 2/7 saying they no longer had a spot for us, causing a lot of stress considering lots of daycares are on a waitlist & we have jobs. Very disappointing and felt very unprofessional. Not very apologetic - basically said it is what it is.

Have two kids at Preston, wonderful teachers and great facility. Would not go anywhere else!

Our family has been at PCA since our son was 3 months old and we have been so thrilled to find a second family there! We love the teachers and administrators dearly, and the love and care they show for our son has always exceeded our expectations (which were high). We appreciate the level of communication we have with the school, and regularly share how lucky we feel to be at Preston Children’s Academy!

Our daughter started at Preston Childrens Academy (PCA) over three years ago and recently graduated and moved onto kindergarten. We feel that PCA really helped our daughter prepare for kindergarten even with all the challenges of the pandemic. The staff and teachers truly cared about her development. Our son started around two years ago and he loves going to PCA everyday. The teachers and staff have provided great care for him and have really helped with his overall development. We would highly recommend PCA!

Any suggestions on how to contact the school for just basic questions? is so hard with other highly rates schools? Very disappointing! Can't find anybody via Facebook, Email or Phone.

Preston Children's Academy (PCA) was recommended to us by our neighbor Kristin Gainer Hamrick when our first child (A.) was born and we were searching for daycares. She had her three kids at PCA . We've had our two kids in PCA since A. was 12 weeks old and K. was 16 weeks old. We couldn't be happier. The staff are very friendly. Amy and Pam know all parents by their first name, which is quite impressive. For a five star daycare, the prices are within reason when compared to other daycares in Cary. Mymiss Suzette is the teacher in the pre-k program. She brings with her years of experience in elementary education. A. finished the pre-k program learning to read before starting kindergarten . Lastly, what we really appreciate during this pandemic is the commitment of the staff. PCA remained open this whole time taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our children, parents, as well as their staff. We highly recommend PCA for your childcare needs.

We recently relocated to NC and our top priority was finding a quality daycare/preschool for our two young children. During our research of facilities in the area we found Preston Children's Academy (PCA) and instantly felt this was the perfect fit for us. Every single staff member is welcoming and caring, they take the time to get to know you and your child. They are flexible to your needs and do a great job at communicating with parents. With the on-set of COVID, PCA took immediate steps to institute new protocols and safety measures to protect the children and their staff. The environment at PCA feels organized, calm and nurturing which has really helped with our children's transition to their new school. We've only been attending for a short while but it already feels like home.
