They are scammers. What you see in the picture is the receipt for the carpet cleaning service I requested. I requested cleaning for one carpet that was not very large, and I was quoted a price of $59.98. I paid a $25 deposit in advance. However, when they arrived, they told me that they would not do the job for less than $100, even though they had not seen the carpet beforehand. I showed them the receipt and explained that I had already paid a $25 deposit, but they still insisted that the company’s minimum charge was $100. I refused the service and requested a refund of my $25 deposit. They refused to return my money, claiming that it was the company’s policy. I then contacted the company directly to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the company manager was extremely rude and disrespectful toward me. The manager used offensive and inappropriate language, including insulting and profanity directed at me. I believe this was unfair and highly unprofessional. I was given a price of $59.98, paid a $25 deposit based on that price, and then was told after they arrived that the minimum charge was $100—without even inspecting the carpet beforehand. When I declined the service, they refused to refund my deposit. I am requesting that my $25 deposit be returned immediately. I also believe the company’s conduct should be investigated because customers should not be misled about pricing or subjected to verbal abuse when attempting to resolve a legitimate complaint. I strongly disagree with Prime Clean VA’s response because it misrepresents what happened and makes false accusations against me instead of addressing my legitimate complaint. I booked a carpet cleaning service for one relatively small area rug at the quoted price of $59.98, and I paid a $25 deposit in advance. When the technician arrived, I was told that the minimum service charge was $99. This was not the price I had agreed to when booking the service. The technician had not even inspected my rug before telling me that I would have to pay more. Since I did not agree to the increased price, I requested a refund of my $25 deposit. The cleaning service was never performed, and I believe it is unfair to keep my money under these circumstances. I also categorically deny the company’s accusation that I blocked its technician from leaving the property. This allegation is false and appears to be an attempt to discredit me rather than address my complaint. A disagreement over pricing and a request for a refund should not be used as an excuse to make accusations against a customer. The real issue remains simple: I booked a service at a quoted price, was presented with a higher minimum charge upon arrival, declined the revised price, and requested my deposit back. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, the company has chosen to publicly accuse me of unacceptable behavior. I stand by my original review and my account of what happened. Customers deserve honest advertising, transparent pricing, clear refund policies, and respectful treatment. Any minimum service charge should be clearly communicated before a customer books and pays a deposit. I encourage anyone considering Prime Clean VA to confirm the total cost and refund terms in writing before making a payment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
