HIGHLY recommend stopping by this place. We recently stayed at an Airbnb nearby and stumbled upon this bakery. The vibes were so cool. The coffee and pastries were fresh and so delicious. We came back every day for breakfast. I ended up taking a dozen of the chocolate chip cookies home with me because theyre THAT yummy. I'm going to miss this place so much. I'm sure I'll stop by on my next trip to LA.

Truly one of the best spots for fresh, beautiful and absolutely delicious pastries. I've loved all the items I've had there over the years, but am personally in love with the buckwheat chocolate chip gluten free cookies – not always available, but worth the visit regardless!
I have never eaten a bad thing from proof! They rotate their cake flavors monthly and I’m constantly sad to see their amazing flavors leave, but know it means something new and special is on the way. Some of the best cakes in LA and very reasonably priced if you’re looking to order a whole one for an event - often offering unique flavor combinations!
Proof bakery proofed that it's the best in town but after I traveled to different countries and I tried so many different bakeries ot is the best from everything I tried so far. Wow what a consistent quality service. I’m perfectionist but this place satisfied me for 15 years. I’m surprised there is a single bad review. Thank you to everyone for providing excellent service excellent quality. ❤️
Idk if it’s been a while since I’ve been but not what I remembered. The cookies have changed in texture and taste. Got a vanilla latte and it was all milk could barely taste the coffee, was disappointing :/

🌟 The Morning Bun (seasonal flavor: Cardmom) was stellar — an airy, flaky, buttery croissant roll with a ribbon of lightly-sweetened cardamom spice! 🤌🏽😋
As delicious as the biscuit + chocolate chip cookie were, I made the "mistake" of eating the morning bun first, which basically "ruined" my taste buds for the rest. 🤣
My cousin tried the cookie + couldn't understand why I wasn't impressed. That's how good the bun was! Admittedly, when I went back for a nibble hours later, I can attest that the cookie was fantastic.
Limited outdoor seating but the food is spectacular. Focaccia I could eat everyday for the rest of my life. It is actually a shame that the focaccia is so good. Their other items are also amazing but the focaccia outshines them. I wish I lived closer to a bakery like this.
Today, I went to Proof Bakery on Glendale Boulevard. The first "sandwich" that I inquired about was long and skinny, like a bread stick. The woman at the counter opened it up so that I could see what was inside. It was so sparse with turkey and cheese that I asked what else she had. For $3.00 more, $13.00, she gave me a focaccia turkey, cheese and lettuce sandwich that had "more turkey and cheese." Based upon her comment, I bought it. Then, I opened the sandwich only to find that there was one very thin slice of turkey, a tiny little bit of cheese and a small lettuce leaf. It looked as if they had run out of ingredients, but used what they had on hand, hoping no one would notice. The turkey sandwich was basically just a bread sandwich. It was such a disappointment. I will not return to Proof Bakery anytime soon.

Everything was good but give them those lower stars because they didn't have any sugar substitute and is the first place that I go and don't have them, so as a person who watches his sugar in his coffee that's a big deal
