UPDATE: I’m updating this review after Jennifer at Protect Environmental reached out and sent people back to my house to fix the issues. They were all apologetic and kind. They professionally sealed the crawl space and added a second pipe to vent the radon in a second concrete slab that was probably from a long-ago addition. The radon test came back under the EPA-recommended 4.0 level. I really appreciate Jennifer making this right. The customer service has GREATLY improved! Previous review: I am never motivated enough to leave reviews but I can strongly say that I do NOT recommend Protect Environmental. Daniel installed a radon mitigation system in my basement in May 2026. It seemed to be working but the radon test came back still above the EPA recommended level so I called them back to see what else I needed to do. After a couple calls/texts they sent Dean over June 15th. He was nice enough and said he would work with the owner, Kyle, on a recommendation asap to get the level below the EPA recommendation. I called, emailed, and texted multiple times in June and July but they would never respond. They totally ghosted me. I’m extremely disappointed in this company. The customer service is the WORST. I paid for a noisy and ugly system that doesn’t even do what they said it would. Very frustrating to say the least.
