Just a warning.i had this company put a roof on my home and there Crew would just drop bundles of shingles on the roof and knock a 400 dollar bar light above my pool table down and I took pictures of it and sent it to them and they did nothing about it not even a sorry.after they were done I had to give copys of the building permit to my insurance company and that's when I learned that they never even pulled a permit so it made all kinds of problems with my insurance company.i reported they to the building office for not pulling a permit.they charge you for it in there price but don't pull them so make sure one is posted to your door before they start otherwise they never pulled one and your insurance company with run you through a lot of issues.i believe they changed me for extra plywood they never replaced.ill never us them for anything or recommend them to anyone.they have no respect for your property and should of had to replace my 400 dollar bar light they destroyed.see if you so decide to hire them,watch them to make sure they really do replace what they are charging you double for.and make sure they pull the roofing permit or your insurance will make you pay a inspection of the roof.im surprised this company hasn't been sued and fined for the way they do business.they started off lieing.told is it was a all American ran and employed company but the job was done by five Mexicans that only one could speak half English,so beware this company is trash and not professional at all.

My husband, Mike, and my experience with Protek roofing has been marked by an inability to make any progress. Despite Protek installing a new roof less than three years ago, the new roof developed a leak. Though they did not respond to our initial email, we had eventual success in getting in touch with a Protek senior customer representative by phone about the issue; however, since that first phone call we have been unable to make any progress. Not only have we not been given a date for a visit from the roofing team, we have been told the customer service rep has no ability to assist with scheduling with the roofing division or give us any contact information for them. We’ve been told we must wait for them to contact us, which they haven’t done despite two weeks passing. It is only when we call the service rep directly that we receive any response from the company (and that response is that there’s nothing she can do to help us schedule a visit to inspect the leak. When asked if there was anyone else we should contact she said no. In the two weeks since we contacted the company, we have sent at least three emails with no response and no progress despite two phone calls with the senior rep. This has made us grow concerned the company is trying to avoid conducting the repair despite the roof being under warranty with them. We’ve repeatedly asked for a date of future visit to show the company intends to honor the warranty but despite these requests, no progress has been made.

Your emails should have gotten a clear, prompt answer, and I apologize for the runaround you experienced. I've responded to you and Mike directly with the full details. For clarity: this roof was installed in 2023 for your home's previous owner, under a contract that predates your ownership. Our workmanship warranty is issued to the original contracting party, does not transfer with the sale of a home, and had already been voided under the terms of that original contract before you purchased the property — so there is no warranty in effect for us to honor. This isn't a company avoiding a repair; there is simply no agreement between us. The manufacturer's product warranty is a separate matter, and we've provided you the GAF registration information directly so you can pursue that with GAF. We genuinely wish you a quick resolution.

I am attempting to sell my home and had some issues with other companies giving me mixed information without explanation. Company did work on neighbors house and debris was falling into our yard. Called regarding this issue and still had more debris falling into yard and plastic hanging in the branches of trees. They have no concern about cleaning up after themselves, just get the job done and leave with a mess left behind them.

Roof tear-offs are messy by nature, and debris can travel — that's why our crews tarp the perimeter, do a full debris pickup, and run industrial magnets before leaving a site. Our records show this site received that full cleanup, including after your call.
